I was happy to finally try the barbecue at Piper Belles BBQ at 149 Oakridge Drive Mountville, PA. I was thrilled to learn they also have additional locations, Food Truck, and cater too. We walked in for lunch and were greeted by a very charming bbq joint which immediately got the juices flowing as I could smell the smoked meats as I entered through the door. The staffing was very friendly and the service was outstanding. The menu had quite a few choices so we selected the burnt ends, pulled pork, and brisket. I then had to try the smoked wings too. Everything was too good and I was sorry not to have saved room for more than a bite of pumpkin bread pudding with brown butter ice cream. They exceeded my hopes as I have been to Tennessee and base my comparisons against my very memorable BBQ experiences there. I will most definitely be back as I bought fundraiser tickets for their chicken BBQ next month. When next in the area this is definitely a stop to make when hungry. I haven’t waddled this bad in a long time. I ate too damn much. Compliments to the chef!

Food and service was great! Good serving sizes for price and plenty of sauces to try. Will come back again to try other items off the menu. They allow BYOB but have sodas and lemonade. We had brisket with sweet potato soufflé and smoked potato salad and the pork mac and cheese. Also had the s’mores lava cake ice cream dessert

Food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal. The BBQ didn’t need sauce the seasoning was great on its own. Will definitely go back to try more. Collards were good, smoked potato salad yummy. Brisket, pork, chicken, burnt ends, wings and sausage so good. End your meal with the brown sugar cinnamon ice cream. Be sure to try it out.

This storefront is new, but I will already consider it a hidden gem! Don’t let the location stop you from checking it out! Best BBQ I have had in Lancaster. We tried the brisket, ribs, pulled pork and chicken – all incredibly delicious! Great portions too!! My kiddo also gives the molten lava cake 5 stars!

Tonight I stopped in to @piperbellesbbq and I treated myself to a bbq dinner- and WOW did they knock my socks off! My plan was to get something to go, but the atmosphere in the restaurant is so nice I decided to sit at the bar and enjoy my BBQ in house. (By the way, no alcohol served but BYOB) Their menu contains just the right amount of options and it didn’t take long for me to pull the trigger on the beef brisket/pulled pork combo with smoked mac n cheese, street corn, and some of the best damn collard greens I’ve had in a long time. The meat was delicious of course- even better paired with the three sauces I felt were the standouts (pictured), the street corn was smokey and with a slight hint of heat, the smoked mac was everything you’d hope a good mac and cheese could be… and the greens! The greens themselves were definitely fresh, they have a sort of hot honey flavor to them which surprised me on the first bite- but I’ll be honest they were the only thing on my platter that I finished. Whew, so good! The cornbread was heavenly. Just the right amount of stick-to-the-roof-of-your-mouthness. If you know, you know. Even the sweet tea is noteworthy- definitely fresh brewed and not overly sweet. I sucked down two glasses! I was too full to finish my platter- I brought more than half of my meal home which makes the $40 tab pretty well worth it- and I also had my apple bourbon bread pudding boxed up. Now, bread pudding is one of my all-time favorite desserts so they had some big shoes to fill in my opinion. When I returned home with my doggie bag I went right in for a few bites of my dessert- which was paired with creamy vanilla bean ice cream, I might add- and HOLY SMOKES. Not too sweet, the bourbon flavor is very subtle, and every bites melts like butter in your mouth. You guys- I didn’t go in expecting to write a whole food review, but damn is this place worth it! Please take my advice and make Mountville your next stop for a good BBQ lunch or dinner! I know for me, Piper Belle’s will be in heavy rotation from now on! I’m stoked that they opened this brick and mortar close to my house so I don’t have to chase their food truck whenever I’m craving some brisket!

Just went tonight. Had the ribs. Flavor was very nice. The ribs are really smoked unlike the chain restaurants which reheat mass produced food. They have several bbq sauces, sweet, hot, and even mustard based. I like the two sweet sauces, shoofly and smoky. Refills are free for unsweetened iced tea, but soda costs $3 per bottle. I only drank one bottle but I could see myself drinking 2 or 3. Hoping they get fountain drinks soon. Overall I really liked the meal and I will be back.

We are always looking for new BBQ places. We definitely found a winner here. I had the one meat dinner. Brisket, street corn, Smokey potato salad, and cornbread. My husband also had the one meat dinner. He had Burnt ends, mac-n-cheese, Smokey potato salad and cornbread. To drink we had the sweet tea and the ginger beer. Let me just say the meats just melted in your mouth. Cooked to perfection. Potato salad was excellent same with the street corn, mac-n- cheese and cornbread. The price was great and the portions were huge. We definitely have enough food for 2 meals each. The hospitality was excellent as well. We will definitely be going back to try more menu items. Can’t wait!!!!

The brisket burnt ends and fries were absolutely unreal—tender, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch from start to finish, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about the food and the people. I’m already dying to come back and explore more of their BBQ options. If you’re a BBQ fan, this place is a must-try.

We found Pipers BBQ as a convent place to meet some friends. Never having been here before. It was fantastic. The service was excellent and the BBQ was very good. I forgot to take a picture it was so good. We had the brisket and the chicken with sides of baked beans, smoked fry’s, mac and cheese, sweet potato soufflé. All were delicious. My wife especially liked the soufflé as it was like a dessert. If you’re in the area stop in. They have lots of good BBQ sauces and a seasonal shoe fly pie BBQ. We loved it and will be back soon.
