Visited this location after seeing a review on social media and reading the reviews..maybe I should have read ALL the reviews because it was absolutely disgusting I love supporting black business, and am disappointed when it’s disappointing. I ordered turkey wings with mac and cheese and collards, blackened salmon sandwich with the coleslaw on top, black people spaghetti, a side of the coconut peas and rice, a flop and a dessert.
How disappointing
Turkey wings were bland and very tuff, the gravy bland and watery just ugh the mac and cheese was terrible, the greens
Blackened salmon was unseasoned and just y.
Coconut rice and peas were dry, flavorless and old.
The flop was watery all I could taste was a tad bit of
Black people spaghetti was the only thing we were able to share because the other stuff went in the garbage. Nawww I can make that myself at home…
Oh and the dessert I got was something with chocolate chips in it terrible
The owner was very nice though.
Oh the fries were good
After dang near $100 I can definitely say we will not return…

I tried this restaurant because of all the infomercials seen on IG. I’m a foodie and I try all restaurants with an honest opinion. First, $17.00 for one piece of catfish with dried peas and rice with boxed Mac n cheese. Catfish cost $2.50/lb in the store. One of the cheapest fish you can buy‼️Somebody lied somewhere: Brown Stew Chicken with no stew. Chicken chopped into little chunks. Candied Yams looks like they are loaded with cinnamon also cut in small chucks. Not the average candied yams or sizes. That peas an rice was the worst. Maybe they pre-heated it from the day before. Not worth the money. Doesn’t look anything like the food Miami Foods displayed in his video. Horrible! Not everybody can open and restaurant. Not everyone can cook. I can cook better than this. Wasted $64.00 I said it!

This was my first time ordering from this spot and it was a great choice. The meatloaf dinner very good nice portions just missing the gravy but still good, the Spaghetti was also great enough for 1.5 people I had to share with my grand baby not sure what kind of garlic bread it was but it was good too . I also had side orders of string beans, Mac n cheese and potato salad and everything was great. I ordered late so I guess I missed dessert or it wasn’t available online but I will order from here again to try more food especially breakfast.

My first visit was wonderful the next was even better!!
The customer service was outstanding
And I loved everything that I ate. The mac & cheese was a little bit on the lighter side, but I appreciated that, After I realized that it was black and Caribbean. You can’t approach it looking for “Blackaroni”
I think the biggest problem people are having is that they’re going by the name and looking for it to be totally soul food, yes, although there is soul food is a very mixed menu, which is great so that we can have some variety
I would say, given another try with a mindset that is not inclusive of the name.

I was curious about Geraldine & Eula Mae’s kitchen because of the social media posts, and it was a soul food spot right in my neighborhood. The name reminded me of Ruby & Jeans (RIP cousin Ruby Lawhorne), another popular soulful place in the 90s.
So let’s get into it! Walking through the door, the vibe was awesome. Kim, the hostess, had an amazing personality; I’d go back just to hang out with her. I had breakfast, and since I’m on a diet, I can’t have certain things, so they customized my order of grilled fish and scrambled eggs. I also ordered an extra breakfast, the catfish bowl, for a friend. I’m not a grits person, but the plate looked amazing! It deserved to be on a plate, not in a box. The grits were creamy, and he said the catfish was a 10/10. I did try the bacon, but the taste wasn’t what I was looking for; maybe they added some Cajun spice ‍♀️, but that’s my only complaint. The price was really good, and I’d recommend this place.

I stopped by Geraldine and Eula shortly after they opened, hoping to try their oxtail, but unfortunately, it was ready yet about an hour after opening. The restaurant is very small, ideal for pick-up orders. One thing to note: the smoke inside from the cooking was really intense. It actually burned our eyes while we were waiting for our order. It made the wait pretty uncomfortable. When it came to the food, there might have been some miscommunication. I ordered lemon pepper wings, but what I received was honey lemon pepper. It wasn’t what I was expecting, but the wings were still decent. The mac and cheese was okay. Overall, it was a bit of a mixed experience. I’d probably only come back if ordering ahead and picking up.

First time ordering at this place 7/24/25 seen it on Mr 305 Instagram food looked delicious. Order spaghetti looked liked leftover spaghetti and didn’t have any red sauce also Order the meatloaf mac and cheese and collard greens. Mac looked dry meatloaf looked like a fried burger patty food didn’t taste what was expected they advertise all this delicious food on social media and get your food and it looks old. You have to take pride in what you do dont just make the food look good for advertising. I don’t think I would be going back first impression is everything at least let my first time be great and mess up on the second visit yall do better literally

Came to visit for the grand opening under new management last week and let me tell you, this IS food!! It’s always the hidden, small restaurants that do the most. Met the owners and both were very sweet and seemed like great people. Their meatloaf was out of this world. I then tried their “ black people spaghetti” and was blown away as well. What I enjoyed the most was everything tasted fresh. This is what I look for. Not reheated food or stale. I definitely would recommend and will stop by again when I am in the neighborhood

Fresh ingredients for a great dinner! Turkey wings were tender, and seasoned well. The rice was nice and moist and the greens complemented the meal along with a Mac & cheese that had a rich blend of cheeses and a good seasoned noodle! 5/5 for sure!

I ordered the Meatloaf Dinner, and let me tell you, the meatloaf was absolutely delicious! The rice was bursting with flavor, but the mac and cheese could’ve used a bit more seasoning. The spaghetti was spot on, and the mashed potatoes were really tasty too. Overall, it was a great meal!
