They’re open later than a lot of places. It was so fun— like a party atmosphere—yet the food was real, spot on and charcoal grill is legit. I forgot to get a pic of the taco bar—the guac salsa was buttery smooth and salsas were fantastic and a variety of veggies and salsa heats for a variety of palates. The service was excellent and we will be back. The big quesadilla is big enough for two people to have a modest dinner in my opinion, especially after the taco bar. Thanks, Taco Boys!!

The vibe was crazy here during a university game but it worked lol. We got quesadillas that were the size of regular corn tortillas so pretty small for the small size. I got the chicken and it was fabulous. I saw it roasted over an open flame and it tasted fresh and delicious. The salsa bar is huge with lots of great flavors. They did serve the beans on a flat Styrofoam tray and it was super chaotic to eat lol. I wish It had been in a cup, but they were delicious nonetheless. They had nice service and for a place that was positively packed. It was pretty quick and well kept. The announcement system there will blow your eardrums out just so you know!

Misleading pricing. Menu says tacos are $3.79 each, received $1.96 upcharge per Carne Asada taco without any notification prior to purchase. That’s almost a $6 taco.

I walked through the door as a hungry man, really wanting something good to eat.
The smokey smell of the charcoal brickettes kinda drew me in, and as I walked in and saw the menu IknewImadetheright choice. I ordered the carne asada plato with some of the creamiest beans I’ve ever had, dark and rich in color.
The salsa verde and selections of fresh toppings gave me the memories of the old school cantina.

The authentic rendition of corn tortillas by the stack was supurbly toasted on the grill was absolutely delicious and thick with corn flavors not too much nor too little warm but soft.
The meat was juicy and delicious with a nice smokey flavor.
The array of toppings they offered, with the Dos Equis was phenomenal.
The guys here are great along with the music is lovely.
So if you’re ever on Mill Avenue and 7th street in Tempe Arizona, just across from the Omni hotel give these guys a shot.

This place gets almost gets five star rating because of the overall quality and vibe. The food was good. The tacos and burritos were good. They have a salsa bar with a range of options, including pickled onions and different picos and salsas. Service was fast, and they make good drinks. Casual place for a quick bite and a drink. Overall just a very good feel. However, there were very limited vegetarian options, which is hard in this day and age. Simply adding a single vegetarian option for the tacos would be substantial.

The taco is alright for the price. They also have a salsa bar with good variety. I did notice they raised Taco Tuesday prices and added a charge on Asada.
Recently there’s a huge fly problem though, every time I come in, I see lots of flies just flying around and assaulting people. Hope they pay more attention to this problem.
