Black Market Meats has the best lunch meats, cheeses and sides, such as pasta and potato salad. Whenever I visit my parent’s house in Cleveland, I bring a cooler so I can take their food home with me! The owners are so sweet and make everything in house! The sandwiches below are made with their homemade focaccia bread.

This shop makes INCREDIBLE sandwiches. The focaccia bread is divine- the sandwiches are huge and definitely big enough to share. I love the sweet mustard sandwich, the ham and walnut pesto, and the tapenade sandwich. All are balanced and super flavorful. Over the holidays, i tried the spicy salami and hope it makes a comeback on their menu. YUM. My meat-eating husband gave two giant thumbs up. We also liked the pasta and potato salads very much. And don’t skip on the Miso Molasses cookie!

I’m not vegan or vegetarian , but I occasionally try it. This sandwich is very very good. The bread is amazing. Soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside . And it’s massive . For 13 bucks it’s the best deal in the Cleveland area.

The BEST vegan sandwich in Cleveland, if not Ohio!!!! Their prices are so reasonable and their sandwiches are big enough to share. It’s hard to find good vegan meat substitutes, but they created something better than amazing. This shop is truly a hidden gem!

The absolute best plant based sandwiches you can get in Cleveland. I love that everything is homemade and the side salads are great as well. When something is listed as spicy, they mean it and I love it! I’ve come here too many times to count and think I find a new favorite every time. One of my favorite places to get food now!

Best vegan sandwiches around! Me and my friend love coming here and everytime we do it never disappoints. Huge portions and very generous with the toppings! I recommend getting the ham and pesto sandwich. Service is always good and the atmosphere is very cool.

The worst thing about this place is that it’s in Lakewood, where I don’t live. Haha.
We just got the Italian sub to try today for the first time since we weren’t too hungry. But we’re going to be back ASAP after tasting it.
The sub is the size of my arm, reasonably priced, all vegan, and all made in-house. They also had deli items and cookies for sale. (My photos are just of one half of the sub).
I appreciate that they actually know how to use seasoning. They know how to use salt, pepper, and vinegar; I find so many other places are afraid to season their food.
The woman working the register was super sweet, and the interior here is like a cute vegan bodega.
I can’t wait to return soon to try their other offerings!

my first visit and I’m already obsessed! the sandwich i got was the spicy salami and it was HUGE and absolutely delicious. the decor is super cute, staff was friendly and helpful, and portions are very generous.
