We stopped into the Long John Silver/ A&W restaurant for snacks on June first a little before 5:00 PM. I ordered a family size hush puppies and a double order of onion rings along with a vanilla shake. My three family members got sodas and a lemonade milk shake.
This was store # 70088 in Savannah, TN.
The hush puppies and onion rings were piping hot right out of the fryer and were enough for all four of us. The staff was friendly and brought our food to our table. The restaurant was clean.The root beer was just as I remembered it as a young boy.
I recommend this restaurant and I will return in the future.

With not many locations left, whenever I find one in my travels I make it a point to go by. LJS was a mainstay for me growing up. I went through the drive through around 8pm and after waiting almost ten minutes without being acknowledged, I drive up to the window. I sat there a couple minutes before someone showed up to help, took my order and got the food. While I’ve always enjoyed the food, the fish has obviously been sitting got quite a while as it was cold. The hush puppies were good, but again cold. I ordered the mashed potatoes and they were fine. As with most fast food today the prices have gone up but the service and quality have definitely taken a hit at this restaurant.
And they actually DO have mashed potatoes as they are a KFC/LJS combo location. I just have no words for their comback…

I know times are getting hard and portions are getting smaller but come on now. This was 2 fish and 3 chicken I added a piece of fish. Total around $17.50 with no drink. These chicken nuggets are far from a piece of chicken

Food is usually great, hot and decent quality. My rant is I ordered 8 pc shrimp platter for my bed bound spouse, in a nursing home. I called to let them know he only received 7 shrimp. Now normally I don’t fuss much. But this is an infrequent delight for him. The shift manager laughed after thephone. Most people in our situation have a low tolerance for this kind or reaction. They don’t live in our everyday, but should be aware that they are touching people’s lives for positive or negative ways.

I have just left this store. Love this staff. Very courteous and kind. Ms. Jennie (I have renamed her Joy because of her always joyful smile and attitude). Got an opportunity to pray with her. I told her I loved fish and came in every time I got that way but getting to enjoy her was better than the fish and the fish is great. Fresh,hot and always awesome. Thank you LJS

We were visiting Adamsville Tennessee and went there for dinner. The young woman taking our order was such a nice sweet person. She made us Oklahomans feel welcome. The food was very greasy, I kept soaking it up with a napkin before I ate it.
