Ohhhhhh I could not stop telling my boyfriend how perfect the rice and beans were! I usually don’t get them at my normal places around Meridian and Newton but there were perfection! Fastest Mexican Food in MS! The food was great and the staff were friendly. This was our first trip to Monarca and it was definitely worth the wait. Definitely Tex Mex! Can’t wait to back on Taco Tuesday!

Everything was so fresh! Great flavors and excellent service. Corn tortillas were homemade and so well made. The birtia tacos could use a tad more seasoning but overall, experience was excellent!

This was a quick lunch stop for us. Food was good, though the side of guacamole was quite heavy on onions. I had quesadillas, shrimp and chicken, with rice and beans. Flavors were good, chicken just a little on the dry side. My partner had tacos with side of beans which were good. Servings were generous.

I am super picky when it comes to Chicken Chimichangas. I have eaten in San Diego and they have some of the best Mexican food. This Chicken Chimichanga without the cheese sauce is very close to the ones I eat when I go to San Diego. Adding Guacamole to this would make it near perfect.

Food has not been good last couple of visits. Its not the most expensive in town but its not the most convenient either. Not worth passing the others in Meridian any longer to get the same food.
