Had the very distinct pleasure of having dinner there while my husband and I was on our honeymoon. Absolutely FANTASTIC experience! We were extremely casually dressed (jeans and hoodies) yet every minute was exquisite. The staff was awesome and very personable and the food was criminally delicious! I’d swear they have a team of Michelin chefs behind closed doors. My husband ordered us the pretzels with pub cheese for our appetizer. The order arrived with 2 huge, warm pretzels that were as big as my husband hand. They were warm and just the right amount of salty. The cheese they came with was warm and gooey goodness. Our entrees were even more delicious. My husband ordered the Short rib dinner …the ribs were fall apart tender and I had the 16oz rib eye that was cooked beautifully and tender enough to cut with my fork.
This was the only sit down style meal we had on our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. Even the view was spectacular. We are absolutely going to plan on stopping by again next year for our anniversary!

The view from the dining room is beautiful. The food is fine, but not special. Service was quite poor.

The hostess was phenomenal, the server not. She was a cold fish with no charisma or customer communication ability. The crispy brussel sprouts were a great start to an otherwise ordinary snapper meal. The wine selection decent. However, lots of natural light and open views over the golf course mitigated the negatives for sure.

I ordered the TGC Club. I would have to say the best club sandwich I’ve had anywhere.

When we got there, there was an event going on in the main area, but we’re were able to go to the taproom and dine outside. Amazing view of the golf course, valley and mountains.

So happy to see the new rebuilt space! While food is a little pricey, it was all great. Pictured: short rib, chicken Caesar salad and shrimp scampi. The views, especially at sunset, are fantastic! Staff was very friendly, although a little slow (to be expected as they had only been open a few weeks when we went). Would definitely go again.

My husband and I were staying nearby this weekend. We had dinner at Seymour’s Saturday evening. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and the golf course is beautiful. We both had the strip steak, rice and Brussels sprouts and they were all delicious. The steak was outstanding, no grizzle and cooked perfectly. The service was fantastic. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

The views here are top Notch. We do come here often. We do prefer downstairs restaurant to the upstairs. Food is generally great. The steak sub, steak, fish entree always good, sandwiches also good. Hit or miss on some other main pasta entrees. Not really vegan friendly when we had friends come with us that were. But they did accommodate the best they could. And they always pay attention to my allergies. Creme Brule here is a must! Service does tend to be very slow at the tables …we ususally go expecting to wait since we know it’s ususally 30-60mins after order to get foods. But the wait staff is super friendly I think they are just understaff and overwhelmed. They do always try to make it right if anything slow or any issues! So we always come back. At the bar service is great and alot faster! But the views and atmosphere are worth it. Tho if you just getting drinks Def go, they are quick and good.

I would like to personally thank the hostess Nadine, we were in town visiting Fort Ticonderoga with our children age 14, 13 &11. We went to two different restaurants and being turned away once due to the restaurant having only adult casual dining which was not posted anywhere online or their website only on a chalkboard out side the entry door and another in the village of Ticonderoga that stated they were the owner and her day off so she was closing when we arrived. We walked into Seymour’s and Nadine kindly explained that they were a tad busy and they had live band so their terrace was full, then she came up with a plan instead of turning away business she checked with her waitstaff and set the 5 of us up in the lower bar area along with another out of town couple. The wait for our food was a bit but as a former restaurant GM I completely understand and was just obliged she didn’t turn us away she accommodated my family along with the other couple with whom we shared great conversation and our children enjoyed the live music. Thank you Nadine for being quick on your feet and making a choice to serve not only us but the couple behind us ….the food and drinks were very tasty and the ambiance along with the customer service even when busy was truly wonderful ❤️we will be back!!!!

Food was delicious when it came. I felt bad for the bar tender as I was sitting in the bar and he had to keep running up checking on my food, and asking them questions about subbing for gluten free, which they do here!!! Steak was cooked perfectly. Beautiful view, I do wish they had a cider on tap though.
