WOW!!! We googled places to eat and picked this place! What a gem in a depressed area. London and Tamara were so nice. Tamara really put her foot into all the food she was cooking! Everything looked so good we ordered so much. The crab boil was delicious. Cooked perfectly. The ox tails, mac and cheese and greens were phenomenal. (My fav was the greens.) We also ordered 3 wings but we’re saving for later. We couldn’t even finish the 2 platters.
The dining area may not be the nicest looking, but the food is really exceptional. Totally impressed!

We got the crab boil 1, I will say they changed their prices and haven’t changed it online yet; so it was $50($53 after tax) and not $40. They are also only taking cash and cashapp right now as their registers are down, which isn’t their fault.
Food was a 10/10, we got it Togo so it was a little cold but that was again not their fault at all, I could see the steam coming off the food and when they bagged it. The plate was also so full it couldn’t close, so portions are great.
We got 2 clusters of crab, probably 20-25 shrimp, a lb of potato’s, 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 short ears of corn, and a 1/4 of a sausage. The bottom of the plate was also covered in this delicious Cajun butter sauce you just can’t see it.
Service was great too, the lady on the phone (didn’t get her name) was very kind and answered all our questions. A separate lady checked us out and she was nice too, gave us plenty of napkins.
All in all I would 100% go again, just would probably eat there for the full experience!

We got take out, they ran out of corn but replaced it with the Mac and cheese, excellent service, amazing food. We got the crab boil one, came with enough food for two of us! Definitely recommend and will be returning!

Man this is the spot to go I have eaten places in Iowa but this tops everything I have eaten since being here. The owners are nice and friendly and they even offer a late night spade game. So if checking the reviews stop and get ya azz on over there or call they might have added to the menu

Listen up. If you’re not ready for an absolute culinary masterpiece of heart, soul, and love. Then you’re not ready for the magnificence these ladies have to offer. The catfish was hands down the best I’ve ever had, fried okra was magnificent with just a hint of spice, Philly cheese steak was hot tender and phenomenally delicious, and the collard greens….. I don’t even like collard greens but I’ll have an order next time I’m in town I assure you of that. Don’t sleep on this one. Go meet my new best friend and get some soul in your belly. I’m coming back for that boudin next time too.

I ordered the crab boil for 2 and it was incredible! Everything was cooked to perfection. Do NOT sleep on the broth/sauce this is served in. We will be back!

AMAZING! Me and my boyfriend just stopped tonight for the first time. Got the crab sampler, fish and fried chicken let me tell you this was the best we ever had! Everything was fire. We live an hour and a half way and we already are planning when to come back! The ladies who own it are very sweet, nice people. 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely amazing food, been looking for a good place for crab and I finally found THE spot. The seasonings on this crab boil was the best thing Ive ever tasted, and I will for sure be coming back. It was worth the wait!!
