This restaurant used to be a place where golfers stopped and had their beers after golf. They have been through different restaurant variations none of them successful. They finally have got the formula right and are doing a great business with quality food and service.

Great patio overlooking the golf course. The Wednesday steak special is terrific! Other entrees are also very good. Best kept secret in Lagrange, worth the drive.

The service is great. The wait staff is really friendly and they work hard. Build your own burger night is great. The burgers are delicious. I would give them a much higher rating, but i went on a really busy Friday night and the food was terrible for our entire party. The chicken was dry and overcooked, but was cold at the same time like it had been sitting forever until it was brought to the table. I attribute this to how busy they were, but I hope they can figure out how to staff appropriately for busy nights. Because of this we unfortunately avoid the place on weekend evenings.

I had the Friday special, prime rib and it was very tasty! The sides were good as well. There was live music, and the band played 60’s music, so for us older groups, it was great!. If you want to talk while the band is playing, you’re better off moving out from the covered patio. Overall, it was a nice experience. If you are going with a group, make a reservation, they were very busy.

I am a performer so we have a very SMALL window for food. What I ordered I didn’t get a chance to eat until 1-1/2 hours later. Even cold, the steak fries were STILL delicious (they use a great seasoning!)and the club sandwich was HUGE! Piled with meat and bacon. I could only eat half (my bass player scored on the other half!). Great atmosphere, great food, and FUN people! Absolutely LOVE this place!

All in all this place is great. Food is consistently tasty. Make sure to show up early enough if you are there just for food, it gets quite busy and loud. Otherwise the bands are good, if unoriginal.
The service kinda sucks, but that’s just the way the place is run. I guess they have a hard time finding good employees to work for cheap like everyone else. Just double check your receipts before you pay and have a good time.

Is the food quality consistent? No, but it’s mostly good & the atmosphere is great. Once upon a time, 2-3 years ago when my daughter was a baby, I met some relatives up here for dinner and ordered the salmon- went to take a bite and it was frozen solid. They’ve since redeamed themselves.. but bring back the Alley Katz!!!!

My wife and I are new to Wellington and The Nest at Grey Hawk popped up in my Facebook feed. Their weekly dinner/drink specials looked interesting so we decided to check out their “Burger Night” last night. So glad we did! The restaurant had a great atmosphere and a good menu. I had a regular cheeseburger and my wife ordered the Philly Dip. Both were excellent and came with a choice of sides. Draft beers and house wines were also very good. Service was great with Kayla and Donovan taking excellent care of us.
Even in the middle of winter on a Tuesday, there was a nice crowd. Can’t wait to see the golf course in the Spring. Next stop… Taco Thursday!

The steak I ordered wasn’t seasoned at all,… it also tasted a bit off. The Brussels were definitely past their due date, and they also were burn, with zero seasoning. The mushrooms and onions were not seasoned either, and nothing was touched with butted,… it tasted like they fried it in vegetable oil. My son liked their chicken tenders, but not the pizza. I was glad, cause I got to at least have some chewy bread with cheese. The waitress seemed nice, but she got my spoiled steak and rottem veggies for me at half price. Would not recommend. It’s too bad too, it’s like 4mins from my house the only things they touched with salt are the fried foods, so eating those would be your safest choice

I’ve dined here twice, both meals were absolutely amazing. Both times I had steaks cooked to perfection. On one of the visits I had a second entree, chicken marsala which I found to be melt in your mouth delicious.
Even the potatoes and other vegetables were seasoned well and full-flavored. Tonight I had a yellow squash that is now a new favorite.
The servers were polite, friendly and attentive.
