First time here for a private event. The place is very spacious nice for a private party. Love the dock area doesn’t smell too fishy. The wings were good. The drinks were reasonable. I have to check it out on a regular night. Security check at the door. Overall 4.5

On February 14th (Valentine’s Day), I visited this establishment to enjoy a peaceful night out with friends. I was seated, minding my own business, enjoying the music and my cocktail when a Hispanic woman with her friends I do not know approached me in a disrespectful manner. I was so confused why they were bothering me
I asked her to step out of my personal space and leave me alone. Shortly after, her boyfriend also Hispanic approached me as well as I stated I was seated minding my business, I again stated that I did not know them and asked both of them to leave me alone.
Instead of resolving the matter fairly, they went to security and falsely claimed that I was the aggressor. That security reply that the aggressor was related with the owner wife who is Hispanic the owner is an African male . It dont justify them for keeping up confusion just because they’re related to the owner’s wife
No one took the time to properly investigate, review camera footage, or hear both sides of the story.
Security then grabbed me and escorted me out. There was no justification for putting hands on me period, ask me to leave I would leave but don’t put your hands on me. And I was not being aggressive or disruptive. I was trying to explain that I did not know these individuals and that they were the ones who approached me if the owner could’ve checked his cameras they would’ve saw me seated I have never in my life been Escorted or asked to leave I don’t bring drama. I have never experienced this treatment.
To make matters worse, when the owner arrived, I attempted to speak with him directly to explain that I was not the aggressor. He dismissed me and walked away without allowing me to explain what had happened. I felt completely disregarded and disrespected.
I was later told that the aggressors were also escorted out, but that was not true. They remained inside the establishment. It was clear to me that because they had ties to the owner’s wife, the situation was handled with favoritism rather than fairness.
I came to enjoy a peaceful evening, not to be confronted, falsely accused, physically handled by security, and dismissed by management. The way this situation was handled was extremely unprofessional.
Based on my experience, this establishment does not handle conflicts impartially when personal connections are involved. I am very disappointed in how I was treated.

First time at this venue for a private event (wedding shower) this last weekend. The food was catered from another vendor, so I can’t really give a rating on the food this place offers.
It seems like an okay spot.
The views off of the small harbor are nice. There was plenty of room to sit inside and outside. The service from the bartenders and I guess the guys running the outside “security” could have been better and more welcoming or friendly.
Also, at 10$ a pop for self-parking and a cash bar (15$ for a “margarita” that wasn’t blended or even mixed well), you would think they would have a paved parking lot. It’s not that bad of a spot, but that gravel parking lot should be fixed if you’re going to be charging for parking.

My sister went to This place on Valentine’s Day and was treated Horrible it’s a shame that you can’t even go to a place and enjoy yourself she was minding her business, sitting down, not buying anyone and I young lady walked up to her and was very disrespectful. All she said was please leave me alone. I don’t know you from that one statement that she made she got it escorted out of the place. Security grabbed hurry and the owner Did not do anything about it when she tries to explain to the owner what had happened and what was going on? He dismissed her like she was not even standing there or talking to him all of this because of the young lady who approached her and was very disrespectful. She was friends with the owner wife or something like that, and they lie and She was not the only one that was put out of the place. The other party was also escorted out of the place too, which that was not true. They were made inside. No one deserve to get treated like that even handle like that by dance Security just say when does Security grab her like she was a man what does she would’ve fell and hurt herself really bad I would never go to this place. They are disrespectful, rude, and she did not deserve to treat it Or handle that way that’s a shame you can’t even go anywhere and just enjoy yourself without you being a problem, especially when you not doing anything wrong. All my sister was done with sitting down and minding her business and not bothering anyone when someone approached her and was bothering her and all she asked was could you please leave me alone? I don’t know you and lady Who approached her in a aggressor way and who was bothering her Security or the owner did not do nothing to this young lady or say anything to her shaking my head it’s truly a shame.

Wow!! What a beautiful space overlooking the lake calumet with boats. Outdoor patio for smoking stogies, plenty of TVs to watch football or any live action sports team. The music system was loud and good.. the drinks were good and were open pour.. I very reluctantly came here for a friend’s birthday.. had never been.. I immediately saw Burnham and thought it would be a very small and dated corner lounge.. I’m very glad I came.. I was floored, what a “ beautiful island”

I had my Birthday Party here in September. I was impress by a good friend party prior to mines. I love this place. It’s an absolutely perfect and beautiful location. It’s elegant and the ambiance is unbelievable! Especially on a nice summer night! The patio nice with nice lawn furniture! Out by the water and boats. Serene peaceful. All my family and friends love this place! The owner and his wife, Beautiful good people. Their team their crew definitely made things happen. I was very satisfied. I recommend this place for any event! Definitely a 5 ⭐️!
