Our server was exceptional and made thoughtful recommendations — the ravioli, the steak, and the chocolate entremet — and every single dish exceeded expectations. The steak was cooked perfectly medium-well, exactly as I ordered, and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. The ravioli was beautifully prepared, and the chocolate entremet was the perfect elegant finish to the meal.
From the impeccable service to the refined atmosphere and outstanding cuisine, everything felt luxurious and thoughtfully curated.
The atmosphere is elegant, calm, and very refined — exactly what you would expect from Louis Vuitton.
We ordered lattes and desserts, and everything was absolutely delicious. The chocolate mousse was outstanding, rich and perfectly balanced. My friend chose a vanilla-based dessert with hazelnuts and a delicate floral touch — both desserts were beautifully presented, with around five dessert options available, each looking like a small piece of art.
The service was exceptional. The barista took the time to explain how the dessert is meant to be served and even suggested the best way to enjoy it, which made the experience feel very personal and thoughtful.
The latte was excellent as well.
Expect to spend around $40 per person for a latte and a dessert, which feels fair for the quality, service, and overall experience.
The only small downside is that the café is very popular, so it can be difficult to get a spot. Other than that, everything was simply perfect. Highly recommend.
I finally made it to the Louis Vuitton Café in NYC, and my experience was pure luxury from the moment I walked in. I ordered the steak frites and the Caesar salad, and both were outstanding. The steak was incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor — truly one of those dishes that doesn’t even need sauce. The frites were crisp, golden, and perfectly seasoned. The Caesar salad was another unexpected standout: fresh, crisp romaine with a creamy dressing and just the right amount of parmesan. Everything felt high-quality and beautifully prepared.
The service was excellent as well. The staff was warm, attentive, and made the entire visit feel special, even with how busy the café gets. And the ambiance? Exactly what you’d expect from Louis Vuitton — chic, elegant, and visually stunning. It’s the kind of place where every detail, from the décor to the plating, is designed to create a luxury dining moment.
There are a few things to keep in mind: it’s very difficult to get a reservation or even a walk-in seat because the café stays busy. And the prices are definitely on the higher side — my total came to about $130 for one person (not including tip). But considering the location, the service, and the elevated food, I felt it matched the LV experience.
Overall, the pros are the amazing Fifth Avenue location, the great service, and the delicious, well-executed dishes. The cons really come down to the challenge of securing a reservation and the premium pricing — but that’s expected with a brand like Louis Vuitton. If you love luxury dining and aesthetically pleasing spaces, this café is absolutely worth visiting.
My friends got matcha drinks and said they were delicious (I’m not a coffee gal). We shared a bunch of things: Caesar salad, sliders, club sandwich & fries. The Caesar salad was good but kinda plain, nothing wow about it. The sliders and club sandwich would have been great if there wasn’t so much horseradish… like a ton! Idk if that was purposeful bc horseradish already has a poignant taste so a little goes a long way! In reality, the fries were the best part!
It’s a very expensive place with very limited reservations so I was a little disappointed that the food wasn’t great.
The menu is perfectly balanced with offerings that include a variety of unique dishes. Perfectly prepared and every bite more delicious than the previous one.
It was a meal we will look back on for quite some time with fondness.
The staff was marvelous and anticipated everything they we could have expected.
