Very good pho and very palatable to beginners too!

Wow I can not tell you what a pleasure any of their appetizers and my favorite… the almighty P3.

Edit: 7/18/17

Their customer service is great, their food even better. I have never left this place without being fully satisfied.

I have now experienced 4 or 5 different restaurants and since I always order the same thing I now have a pretty good idea of what is quality.

I can not tell you how good this place is. You just need to try it. I haven’t had the same culinary experience elsewhere. This place has turned me on to Vietnamese cuisine.

Orders:

Appetizer – crab reason
Me – seafood egg noodles
Wife – lemongrass chicken

Service:

Quiet, attentive service. It appears we came during the employee eating time, but that wasn’t a problem at all and we still had good service and our drinks were consistently full. They even brought us a kids cup without asking.

Food:

I loved my egg noodles. They were flavored to my liking and the seafood was cooked too my liking as well. My wife stated she will not order hers again, but did say that it wasn’t bad, just not what she expected. She said there was tons of curry powder. My daughter (who’s two and a half) loved the crab Rangoon, but I personally didn’t care for it due to the spices.

Prices:

Reasonable because they had good service and quality food.

My wife and I went here for the first time about a month ago and loved it. We tried #21, the lobster fried rice, and it was fantastic. We also had #1, springs rolls, which were very good and crispy. I have also tried #13, the half marinated Cornish hen, and thought is was very juicy and cooked to perfection. Since my initial visit, I have gotten takeout as well from here too, and it was fabulous as well. I recommend Café Ha Tien to anyone and it is a great place for either lunch or dinner.

I got the lemongrass chicken and it was more like a dry curry rub with a hint of lemongrass. Not bad but not what I was expecting. My wife got the beef stir fried with egg noodle and there was nothing at all to complain about but it was a little bland. Decent service. I’d try it again.

The Vietnamese coffee was on point though.

We’ve tried practically every Vietnamese restaurants in the KC metro area and this is the cleanest, best food and service around!
Their ingredients are not greasy or fatty, it is at the perfect healthy consistent proportion. The essence of great Vietnam cuisine is how they make their fish sauce, they are spot on in the flavor. Love the crepes and fish sauce!! This is definitely our go to Vietnamese cuisine restaurant. Highly recommend.

This is not the least expensive Pho in town. That being said, I really do not prefer the cheapest Pho in town. This place has all the amenities and service I expect from a family owned (and loved) eatery. I’ve had just about everything on the menu and each dish is in the top 15% tile of each feature, I’ve ever had. That being said, I love the broth of their Pho. There is something Homely, refreshing, light, and VERY satisfying about it. Granted, this is my neighborhood hang for Asian flavors, I’m am a bias lover of Cafe Ha Tien. I just wish they were open on Mondays…

We have tried all the Vietnamese restaurants around and today’s visit here was the best. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was spot on. What really did it for me were the small things. I usually get a dish that would come with an egg on top of the rice. I’ve tried unsuccessfully at other places to have the yolk runny. So I stopped asking. Today’s meal was a cornish hen with the egg on the side and it was perfect. The hen was fried just right. All around good restaurant, definately recommend coming here!

Awesome authentic Vietnamese food… At least as far as I know about the authenticity since I’m not from Vietnam. I usually go during lunch and it’s always pretty full, but I’ve never had to wait for seating. Food is incredible service is great as well.

I am a Vietnamese and food here is not authentic. I ordered Pho Tai and the broth was too sweet. They added too much sugar and I didn’t taste the bone broth at all. Pho didn’t have much meat either. It’s overpriced to the quality and quantity of ingredients. Noodles were a lot, though, but who cares for noddles when the broth is really bad. I also ordered bun thit nuong for my husband and the pork tasted weird. We didn’t know what it tasted like because it was very bad. We also ordered some banh mi thit heo to go. They made 3 and didn’t give us. We paid and waited for the waiter to bring them out but he didn’t. We had to go ask to get them. The taste was so so so bad. I’ve never had any banh mi worse than that. I’ll never come back for sure. Paid so much money for lunch and nothing was good.
