As a first timer going into this carvel. I was so impressed. The owner is the nicest guy!! He helped me out with everything. I was also in a rush and he managed to fulfill my order within 2 minutes. I highly recommend this place! It’s such a difference when you go into a store and you either get looked at nasty or the worker is just rude. But this wasn’t the case, they were super helpful. People need to have more love and passion while working. Instead of having hate & being miserable. It goes a long way! Thank you carvel (:

Ordered through a delivery service for the second time (second location) , The first location we ordered from gave almost nothing in our sundae dashers , this location on the other hand went above and beyond , not only with safely packing the 3 dashers we ordered to ensure they wouldn’t fall & couldn’t be tampered with but they literally layered them exactly like the pictures! Thank you guys ! This was a treat for a birthday dinner & we really enjoyed this !

I ordered a custom Carvel cake for my daughter’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment I picked it up, I could tell care went into every detail — the design was exactly what we asked for, colorful and fun, and it made her face light up with joy. The classic Carvel crunchies were a big hit with both the kids and adults, and the cake itself was fresh, creamy, and delicious.
The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the process, making sure everything was just right. Thank you, Carvel, for making her birthday extra special — we’ll definitely be back for the next celebration!

I came here this past weekend to pick up my nephew’s birthday cake, and the experience was awful. The man who served me was incredibly rude. When I asked to pick up my order, he flatly said there were no orders under my name. I showed him the receipt on my phone, and only then did he check his computer—where he found and printed my order. He then told me they couldn’t make the cake the way we requested.
That alone was frustrating, but it got worse. When my sister called to speak with the manager, he cursed at her. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior.
The customer service at this Carvel is absolutely terrible. They clearly don’t care about their customers, and it shows. This is no way to run a business.

I usually go to another Carvel and buy 2 waffle bowls with soft ice cream and 2 toppings and I get charge $16 I said to my wife don’t feel like driving to far so let’s go to the Carvel in Oceanside cause it’s closer I ordered the same I get charged $26 so I ask the lady and she said I ordered 2 toppings and the waffle bowls are separate ♂️ why I don’t know but it’s my last time going there

With over a decade and a half of going to carvel, Oceanside Carvel has to be the most upstanding location I’ve been to. Staff’s courtesy and professionalism is on par with that of Michelin Star restaurants. The quality of the ice cream coupled with their variety of toppings allows for an exceptional dining experience.

I went in today with my kids and the staff was so kind and welcoming. Usually when I go to other carvels the staff isn’t as nice to the customers but this carvel specifically changed that. They work hard and do what they have to do and they do it well. I was specifically please with Melina. She was so nice to my kid who had a stutter and was patient with him. Will be going back soon!!
