Cozy, lovely, cute, romantic, charming… and food it’s a WOW! I’ve been 3 times in less than 2 weeks. The Massaman Crepe its a nice trip to India and Thailand with stop in Paris and let’s don’t forget the Tom Kha Lobster Bisque . Real good coffee and they baked their own croissants… Astoria jewel with NO pretension, for people who loves enjoy food while listening and Amazing French playlist… and be ready! THE BAR is opening next door soon!

This is Kai Krata, a Thai-style breakfast dish. If you’ve never tried it before, I highly recommend it! For Thai people who already know this dish, it might bring back a taste of home. The café is small and cozy — perfect for enjoying a relaxing breakfast and a cup of coffee. Highly recommended!

Brunch at Maison de Manee in LIC, Queens
French-Thai fusion done right. Cozy spot, elite service… seating a little tight if you’re 6’4″ and built like a retired power forward, but we made it work.
Started strong with the French Toasted Crème Brûlée — buttery brioche, vanilla custard, crackly caramel top, bananas doing their thing. Absolutely dangerous.
Washed it down with a Thai Iced Tea packed with so much flavor it should come with a warning label.
Then the CHEF’S SPECIAL pulled up in a hot skillet like it owned the place: sunny-side eggs, sweet pork sausage, ground pork, tomatoes, carrots, seasoning sauce, pepper powder… cooked to perfection. If you’ve never had it, order it. If you’re Thai, it might just hit you right in the childhood.
Fun fact: Maison means home in French. Manee means precious gem in Thai.
Translation? This place is a gem for Queens.
Highly recommended. No skips.

Along with Little Flower Cafe, our favorite brunch spot in the neighborhood – by FAR! everything we had was insanely good. And it’s really interesting and creative. Sometimes fusion feels forced, but here it feels natural and warranted. The Massaman crepes, Crème Brûlée French toast, and Pandan croissant were all spectacular, as were the drinks. We will be back!!

This place is cozy but I wish it had more seating because it gets filled up quickly. I really enjoyed the French toast—it’s one of the best I’ve ever had.

This is one of those neighborhood spots that you root for, not just because the food is great (and it’s fantastic) but because the people are great. The vibes here are incredible.

But you probably want to know about the food.

Everything is fantastic. There hasn’t been a thing I’ve tried that I haven’t loved. I’m sure there are lots of reviews saying tons about how great the food is, so I’ll stick to some quick recommendations from a guy who comes here all the time and keeps coming back for more.

Savory crepe: I’m partial to the bacon and avocado with Thai pesto. It’s my go to breakfast crepe although now that I think about it my ultimate favorite might be the goat cheese and sautéed onion crepe. But I also love the ratatouille and goat cheese crepe with the smoke salmon added.

Sweet crepe: Gotta go with the mango sticky rice crepe. It’s delicious. I’m admittedly not a sweet crepe guy but I’ve heard great things about the Nutella banana crepe and I loved the kettle corn and mozzarella cheese crepe as well.

Weather’s getting colder: Get the tom kha bisque. It’s amazing. Spicy and full of flavor. It’s incredible.

Item that needs more talking about: The goat cheese salad is legit the best salad I have ever had. Get it.

Drinks: Everything is good. My two favorites are the blue jasmine latte and the dirty chair latte. If you don’t want coffee, I love the purple lemonade as well.

Come down and eat here or just get a drink. Enjoy the vibes and the people, and if you have a dog, this place is very dog friendly so bring them by too.

This cafe became a neighborhood favorite pretty quickly after opening, and hasn’t lost any of its sparkle after nearly a year. The mango coco and bacon avocado crepes are incredible, and I always enjoy trying their signature and special drinks!
Vanessa, Jane, and the entire MdM team are so welcoming and make every guest feel like a “regular”. This cafe is worth visiting—whether you live around the corner or in a different borough!

i’m not one to typically review places i eat but this 100% deserves it. i got the strawberry matcha as someone who doesn’t like matcha and it was great! it may convert me into a matcha enjoyer. i also got the french toast crème brûlée which was the highlight of my experience. it was a massive portion for the price and 100% worth it. it was an hour subway ride to get here from my apartment but i definitely need to come back asap! service was also wonderful and fast. the staff is very kind and helpful.
