Visited here twice, both on a Wednesday night. We were hopeful it would become our new regular Wednesday hang out because we enjoyed the trivia and the vibe of the place, but after the service we received we likely won’t be back. Slow service to start, husband had to go to the bar to get a drink because waitress never returned, ordered wings and they were taking exceptionally long. Another waitress stopped by and we told her we needed to get going to pick up our kids but had ordered wings. Instead of being helpful she immediately got defensive and said they were busy, wings take a long time, etc. Over 40+ minutes and we finally got them and they were the wrong flavor. Original waitress returns and we tell her we have to leave and the order was wrong. She argued with us that that was what we ordered! We were shocked! What happened to basic customer service? We boxed up our untouched wings, paid for them, and left. We understand being busy, food taking a little longer, but the way everyone responded here was not right. Disappointed and will be looking for another place to give our business to.

So excited to find this place!! Stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon our way back from a ski trip. Happy hour is from 11 am to 6 pm! Atmosphere is so great–very “Coloradan” and very clean! Everything we ordered was great: soft pretzel bites with smooth, delicious white queso dip, pizza, meatballs, smashed potato with Fritos and chili on top; wedge salad, chicken Caesar salad. Two adults and two teens and we were all happy! Loved it! Can’t wait to go back! The menu isn’t huge, but I am guessing that based on our experience—everything on that menu is great!

Drinks are made with care and tasted great! The food was a good value and came out piping hot. I had the loaded smashed half potato and the buffalo dry rub wings, which were incredible. Service was also top notch! 100% will come back

Had dinner with friends and had a fantastic experience. Food was delicious, portions were great, and service was excellent. Not sure why others had “1 star” experiences, but we would definitely go back. Great value/pricing also.

Stumbled upon Local Landing as we were headed through Monument, and it was a success! Everything we tried was so good, it was a full bar, the service was so welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun. Will be trying to find an excuse to travel back down there again soon.

The decor and ambience of the Local Landing is just wonderful. It is so nice to have a place in Monument to get a late night drink. The service was super attentive and friendly, and our cocktails were creative and tasty! It was a Saturday night, and there was live music. We will be back again soon!

I don’t like to do negative reviews on local businesses especially because I had previous had good experiences here. Today (1/14/26) I came in with my daughter to have lunch at around 12pm. We were not greeted when we entered despite standing awkwardly in front of the waitress for a while and being the only people in the entire place. I had to break down and ask her if we could sit down — received an annoyed look and response. We were delivered menus after some time by her without a single word. She then left for so long that we eventually got up and left. It felt like we were a nuisance to her bar prep chores she was engaged in. Sorry we disrupted you.

This was my first time to local landing. The inside was super clean and had a nice calm feeling to it. The food was also great. My only request would be to add larger menu items. Most, if not all was more finger food and drinks. Over all had a good experience!
