Yes…it’s that good! With the perfect combination of warm and welcoming atmosphere, and absolutely fantastic fare, the Homestead is the best restaurant we have visited in years. The manager was so welcoming and easy going, he actually made us a homemade carafe of sweet tea that we absolutely loved. Thanks to Elizabeth our entire meal was perfectly relaxed and unrushed, so we had ample time to enjoy the fantastic views and incredible food. Chef Alex is absolutely incredible! We were so impressed, I just really can’t say enough great things about this place! Truly remarkable.

My husband and I were traveling with our dog and had reserved a nights stay in Carbondale. We needed a pet friendly place to dine. The Homestead Bar and Grill fit the bill on all accounts. We were so fortunate to have found this place. Our meal was prepared expertly and the mountain golf course setting was delightful.

The property itself is very beautiful, with a peaceful and quiet setting that makes it a relaxing place to enjoy a meal. I ordered the ceviche and the arugula salad, and both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and presented nicely. While I did find the prices to be a little on the higher side, the overall quality of the food and the charming atmosphere made it worth the visit. It’s definitely a nice spot if you’re looking for good food in a serene environment.

The Burrata salad was amazing- we added grilled chicken which was also juicy and tasty! Fantastic mocktails- next up is the bananas foster beignets! Here they are! Yummmmm.

Was this an old homestead? You decide- what you don’t have to decide is what a Beautiful golf course setting it’s in! Did settlers play prairie golf? Sure ‘nuff! Has Indoor outdoor seating with incredible views. Great friendly service

What a perfect place to enjoy a drink and a meal with friends! Nothing can beat the spectacular scenery of Mt Sopris rising over a perfectly groomed golf course, unless it’s the attentive service (kudos to our waitress, Amy, and the staff) and food obviously prepared by an excellent chef. Every one of us thought OUR meal had to be the best on the menu. Thanks!
