Food tastes great! Catfish sandwich was so crispy and flavorful. Don’t be afraid to try the mild and above spice level! Definitely worth it. Wings were wonderful as well. The staff was very friendly and helped us with recommendations.

I know others rated this place highly, but it didn’t get me across the finish line. If you want a good fried chicken – they pull it off. If you want a Nashville Hot Chicken with the spectrum of nuanced flavors found in a seriously, old fashioned recipe…not so sure

Great Chicken at a Reasonable Price
I was on my way to Bowling Green and decided that I wanted to try a Hot Chicken establishment that I hadn’t been to before. The Goodlettesville location was just minutes from the highway and not a significant detour off my route. The location is based in a newer plaza, and the store itself is very new. The restaurant inside is very clean and bright, and the staff are very welcoming. On the day I visited this location, I was the first customer of the day. I ordered a Breast and Wing combo with a side of greens, and it only took a few minutes for them to make. Their quality control is great as the kitchen and manager felt my breast portions were smaller than usual and doubled up my meal at no extra cost.
The chicken was ordered mild and had some kick to it. The inside of the breast was tender and moist and full of flavour. I barely remember my greens, as I wolfed them between chicken portions. Overall, BJ Hot Chicken makes really good chicken, and if you are a fan of Fried or Hot Chicken, I would give the BJ Hot Chicken location in Goodlettsville a try.

Excellent choice: Delicious, friendly and fast service, super clean (including the restroom), plus well priced. I’m a Hattie B fan and I gotta tell you, this is at least just as good. Had the garlic parm and it was a great choice. Highly recommended.

Great addition to the neighborhood! We had seen the coming soon sign and were anxious to try it. We ordered the fried catfish sandwich with coleslaw and the hot chicken sandwich with baked beans. The catfish was actually two sandwiches with large pieces of catfish on both with lettuce, tomato and onion with a side of tartar sauce and their special sauce. It was excellent! Both pieces were cooked nice and golden. The chicken sandwich with a big breast that was larger than the big bun it was served on. Their sauce had great flavor and just the right after heat to add taste, but not over power the fried chicken. The beans and coleslaw were ok. The service was excellent. They were friendly and helpful since it was our first visit. Definitely a great place to go. Looking forward to our next visit.

I’ve been eating this place on Uber Eats years so when I saw they put one up in Goodletsville where I work, it’s a weekly stop for me when I need my hot chicken fix. There’s a crunch on their chicken tenders that I’ve never had before. It’s not extremely crunchy or soft, but the perfect mix of breading to make the chicken amazing even if you don’t get it Nashville hot style. Restaurant is easy and clean. Staff are nice and food is ALWAYS fresh. I’ve tried the wingettes and the fish but the tenders win in my opinion every time.
