Classic little roadside snack bar serving southern hospitality. Tabitha makes a proper flattop burger with perfect beef flavor and patties so thin and tender they basically melt in your mouth. Don’t miss Jessica’s banana pudding made fresh daily!

Got a cheese burger combo with the sweet tea and look here that cheese burger was great. First bite made my tongue hard. Reminded me of the burgers that was made there back in the early 90s and 2000s if not better. Young lady’s that work there are cooler than ceiling fans. Recommend highly

Food is good but they have decreased portions for the price. 4.25 for a small batch of fries? Nah

New management is awesome. The food’s even better! Hot dogs and homemade chili are off the hook. The burgers were hand patted and came with PLENTY of crispy fries. The tea was perfect, just right.

Edna’s Kitchen has a wonderful atmosphere and the outside is so cute and quaint! I loved sitting in the rocking chairs while waiting for my food. Unfortunately, the food was just not good. Everything we ordered tasted old and had zero flavor. The fries were cold and hard, the cheesesteak was dry, and the lemonade had zero lemon taste. The banana pudding was great, though! At $50 for a family of three, I felt like I could have gotten a better, tastier, and fresher meal elsewhere. I think Edna’s Kitchen has so much potential and has the means to be great. I hope they see success but until their food improves I will not be back.

This little roadside food stand has great burgers and friendly service. They ran out of their home made chili and offered other enhanced items to apologize for the inconvenience. The lady who took our order was very friendly. Definitely will stop by again if in the area.

I tried this place when I first moved to Dillon many years back. I’d heard nothing but great things about their hamburgers so I ordered a cheeseburger. The first thing I noticed was that the burger had tons of bread in it. The bun should cover all of your need for bread! Anyway, I didn’t go there again until tonight. We wanted to try it again since it was under new ownership. Well, nothing has changed. The cheeseburgers we got were full of bread once again. I like the meat on my burger to be 100% BEEF. Maybe I’m in the minority but if so, I like it here!
I just don’t get why so many people rave about their burgers. If they’re going to put that much bread in the meat, lower the prices! Also, the fries were extremely soft and soggy and tasted of burnt oil. They seemed to be fresh but if you’re going to cook fresh frence fries, it’s imperative that you rinse the fries before cooking. If not they will indeed be soggy. It seems that they skipped this step.
I’m a huge fan of chicken wings so I will return to try theirs. The price on the wings was reasonable. But, never will a burger from there ever touch my palate again.
I will now step down from my soapbox!

Wow! What a treasure this place is to grab some fresh food. My family had the burgers, Philly cheese steak and the Banana Pudding was to die for. It is so clean and the outside is simply beautiful with a Southern look that makes it feel like your meal was made just for you. They have their own picnic tables where our family decided to eat and enjoy some lone constantly refreshing our drinks. Truly Southern hospitality at its finest!

I got a chicken tender plate with chili cheese fries. The chicken tenders have absolutely no flavor what so ever, normally i would say ranch can make anything taste better but in this case it didn’t! The fries tasted old (not saying they were but that’s how they tasted) Maybe the oil needed to be changed I’m not for sure. But overall I couldn’t finish the food it was so unappetizing and I’m a bigger girl so that’s unlike me to not finish eating my food

The food is actually horrible now. The tea was sour at lunchtime. The burger looked like a sausage patty and still wasn’t done in the middle. The fries were so burned and coated in grease that it’s still in my mouth. And the people were not friendly at all. If you’re expecting “The Kitchen” burgers, you will be extremely disappointed. Not sure at all how they are using Edna’s name for this food.
