When a Chinese restaurant’s takeout says they don’t modify dishes, you know this is mostly commissary food reheated. Unfortunately I didn’t like much about our experience. The server was nice and helpful and even funny. But we came in and two tables had dirty dishes on them. We noticed the ceiling fans need cleaning, right over our heads … what else needs attention?
The menu claims pan-fried potstickers – these are deep-fried dumplings (and we had to ask to find out that they have chicken inside). Chow fun noodles usually wider or more chewy. As for the rest, it was serviceable but poorly seasoned.

Decided to stop here for lunch today based on the excellent reviews. They have a decent lunch special menu selection & I opted to get the hot garlic chicken, because I love my veggies, & was told this would be one of the better options to order to get the most veg. It did not disappoint! Delicious savory flavor, served piping hot, and the veggies were fresh & crisp tender. Although it was routed as being “spicy” dish, I didn’t feel much heat, but again flavor was very tasty. They also indicate the lunch special comes with an egg roll, but it truth, it was more like a deep friend spring roll, as opposed to having a larger wonton wrapper egg roll. Still very good, but slightly disappointing if you are expecting the other kind. All in all, a great find & would recommend and come back again.

We travel over 60 miles to eat here. The service is very good. They have free refills on the soda. The food portions are generous. The taste of the food is very flavorful. The restrooms are clean. The dining room is clean.

Hao Hao Chinese Restaurant located in Scottsdale serving hearty good quality Chinese cuisine. Our last stop before driving back to Vegas. Location is good lots of parking. I like the entrance to this restaurant the garage door roll up idea, modern style, cute and simple decor. A simple menu that has a good selection of dishes to choose from. They share an area next to it called Rewind Treats serves Boba drinks and ice cream.
We ordered the Vegetarian Eggrolls, the Salt Fish and Chicken Fried Rice and the Fried Pork Chop with salt and pepper (bone in). Food came out fresh, quick and very tasty. We ate everything no to go box needed. Service was good. We’re glad we made this choice to have lunch here. When you’re in the area stop and grab something good to eat and drink at Hao Hao Chinese Restaurant.

I really liked Hao Hao. It’s many steps above your basic Chinese restaurant, and they offer a very diverse array of Chinese inspired selections to keep anyone happy.
Everything we ordered was terrific and it was so good I ordered two more dishes for the kids at home and they loved it.
Portions are perfectly sized. Wait staff was helpful and speedy.
Definitely will be going again

It was once decent and had a nice can do accommodating server. The one in there now looks at you cross-eyed when you ask for low sodium soy sauce. What’s worse is I ordered Mu Shu pork and they have way too much pork in it and are way light on the cabbage l asked for light on pork and generous on cabbage. I’m used to massive mounds of cabbage back East. She literally said it would get watery (thats not true it may be true if you use bags of prechopped cabbage thats too thin) and that they measure out their already skimpy amount of cabbage. I just walked out. I did once before. Plus they had a soup once with literally 1 water chestnut in it and I asked for a few more water chestnuts and she gave more excuses. She’s constantly like that and has a can’t do manner. The chef is the same way. It’s places like this who are not accommodating who always end up going out of business in Scottsdale. Plus their egg rolls are worse than frozen from a box. People just don’t know good Chinese and restaurants who will be flexible with your requests. Wish you luck if you go here! They are pros at not being accommodating just like a review before me says.

Absolutely great food these folks do what they do well and don’t disappoint. Definitely a place you want to take a seat and enjoy a meal really take it all in and honestly great for more than just a date. Definitely recommend the Shaking filet beef Dish you won’t be disappointed also something light to accompany is the Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce to compliment the beef. Looking forward to trying another dish from here on my next go around.

Incredibly bad customer service that ruins the experience. We went there several times and every time we did, our young server looked like we were bothering her. Was it too much to ask for chili oil? Last time the spicy garlic chicken was gristly, there was not enough veggies and the cabbage was soggy. We will not come back, taking our business and tips somewhere else.

Former owners of Nee House have come out of retirement to bring their signature dishes to Scottsdale, which has until now severely lacked authentic Chinese food.
Chef Vincent continues to master the wok from authentic dried scallop, crab and egg white fried rice to jalapeño kissed salt & pepper fried pork chops. So happy to see our favorite fried silken tofu in dried scallop sauce here as well. They also have a few Vietnamese dishes like pork egg rolls and shaking beef.
So grateful to have this option and not have to drive down to Mesa for our Chinese food any more! Our family plans to dine here weekly if not daily. We’ve already had dinner here yesterday and lunch today!
They also run Rewind on one side so you can get boba drinks and custom made ice cream from Karen’s Kreamery for dessert.
