This was our first time here. It will for sure not be the last . We ordered a couple full meals to share plus a couple side items to share amd sample.
Had a great conversation with the owner/Mgr. Turns out this was their first full week in business.
The food was terrific . Empinadas were crispy and filled with some excellent chicken. The tamales was traditional Guatemalen style in the banana leaf that makes the Masa extrasoft. The Chuchitos are excellent also. Wrapped in corn husk they are more of a traditional Mexicam style tamales with a more firm texture.
Now let’s talk about the Pollo con Papas…. we had eaten this dish before a couple years ago. Simple Chicken and French fries right ? No says I !! The chicken was fried perfectly like a Southern granny made it , the fries are cut fresh and fried to order . Then they add this trio of sauces that puts chicken and fries on a next level.
Great people great food good value , Right on Cleveland Hwy just South of Patterson Farm . Stop and give them a try.
Dont speak Spanish dont worry ,they speak English , easily confused …no worries the menu is simple ,stop by and enjoy Taza Real .
