Excellent food–super fresh and good portions! The restaurant was clean, with a relaxing ambiance. No wait as we were there on a Tuesday night around 7pm. We will be back!

Love this place! I grew up with Edo in Calgary, and now that they’ve opened in Arizona, I’m thrilled. It’s much better than other local Asian fast, casual dining places. Same great taste and generous portions. A perfect new spot for quick, delicious teppanyaki. Can’t wait for more locations to open

The food was actually really good and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was clean and okay, nothing real special but that didn’t bother me. The staff were great… really sweet and helpful. My biggest complaint was that I specifically ordered 2 bowls with SAUCE ON THE SIDE and even asked before I grabbed my bag if the sauce was on the side! Although they did put an extra sauce in the bag, as requested, the bowl itself was overly drenched in it… that’s why I always ask for it on the side!! There were no condiments like napkins, chopsticks or silverware in the bag… I was told where it was but that’s hugely inconvenient and if I had grabbed my bag of food and run, I would have had nothing!

We were excited to try a Canadian chain making it’s U.S. debut in our city of Chandler, but our experience was underwhelming. I give them a little slack for being a newly opened restaurant, as I know it takes time to work out the kinks. However, certain things are not likely to change. The lack of sound dampening somehow allows the small space to become an echo chamber, where it’s hard to hold a conversation during the dinner rush. This and the uncomfortable seating strongly pushes customers out the door for a takeout-oriented business. Ultimately, though, any dining option must be judged by its food, and that is where we were most disappointed. Although the Asian grill is billed as fast food, most americanized Asian restaurants are known for their quick preparation and value for large portions. That context meant the mediocre execution of the dishes we tried left a lot to be desired. The rice was plentiful, but there was surprisingly little protein included in the Orange chicken and Hawaiian chicken bowls. The orange chicken also had no excess sauce to flavor the rice, making it a big bowl of bland white rice. The Hawaiian chicken had plenty of sauce, but it was overly sugary combined with the pineapple chunks. The Sushi-Licious platter really drove home the fast-food feel, as this sushi is only the simplest rolls, with no fresh fish cuts, and it all had a chalky texture. Grocery-store sushi is a better option.

Bento box with teriyaki chicken as well as sushi rolls were all tasty. Yes, this is a fast food, but surprisingly good with affordable prices. Fast service, very friendly staff. We will be back. Thank you.

We enjoy our food, we have been there to pick up some lunch (using some coupons they give us the on grand opening day)
The service was great, I heard at least three welcome greetings. We order 3 beef teriyaki bowls, giozas, springs rolls & tempura. The food was delicious, the place looked very clean. I’m totally going back to try their Poke bowl.

We ordered our food to-go for lunch. Our order included: brown sugar boba, chicken & beef teriyaki bowl, poke bowl, and a tiger roll. Everything was tasty but just a few comments to make. The teriyaki sauce is on the saltier side so I opted to not add any soy sauce as I believe it would have been too salty. The brown sugar boba is okay, I probably won’t be ordering one here again. The tiger roll was very good and my husband enjoyed his poke bowl.
Overall, the portions are fair and the staff were great. We will be back to try some other items on the menu!

Super busy for the grand opening! Really enjoyed the chicken teriyaki bowl. Filling and tasty with a mild sweet teriyaki sauce. The standard 2 scoops of teriyaki sauce was exactly the right amount. There were some small bits of broccoli amongst a lot of chicken. Brown instead of white rice is offered with no up charge. Looking forward to trying the bento box, sushi, & boba drinks. Staff members were knowledgeable and friendly.

Tiny fast food Japanese outlet. It is expensive for fast food but also good size portions.
Food is OK. Reminds me of what you get in a mall food court. I got the bento box with shaved beef, along with Shrimp tempura and spring rolls. For $16 it is a lot of food but nothing compared to the quality of my favorite Japanese Restaurant, Sushi Sen, in Scottsdale.
For a drink I got the strawberry tea that for $5 was very over priced.

As a Canadian living full time here I was so happy to learn that edo has came state side! The food tastes the same, there isn’t as big of a sushi menu but that’s ok. This is my 4th time ordering since I’ve learned it’s opened and It’s made this preggers Canadian very happy hahaha
