What a fabulous find! Don’t judge this restaurant from its outward appearance – as soon as you enter, the warm friendly white table cloth service grabs a hold and you’re on your way to nothing less than a pure culinary delight.

Our meal began with a nice glass of the house cab – we knew it would be good since the walls are lined in bottles of the elixir. Our first appetizer was the Applewood Bacon Wrapped Medjool Dates Stuffed with Gorgonzola Cheese and Topped with a Pesto & Thai Sweet Chili Sauce. They were so savory! We followed that with the Lump Crab Cakes and Jumbo Shrimp – simply fabulous! For the main course, we split the Seared Ahi Tina Fresh (fresh sliced ginger, wasabi and an awesome wasabi sauce) with Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. Yes, the photo provided is a half-portion. It was so fresh and the asparagus was a nice complement. For dessert, we enjoyed a Cappuccino and the Limoncello Torte with Amaretto Cream. The atmosphere was comfortable and we enjoyed every delectable bite. This is a great place for a top-notch meal and to celebrate any occasion worthy of the supreme meal.

We highly recommend Wine Sellars Bistro.

1st time dining here and food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was scrumptious! This is fine dining so don’t come here if you are expecting big portions. It is a bit pricey but our overall experience was wonderful. Our drinks were super strong and delish as well. Loved the blue cheese stuffed olives! All the wait staffs were pleasant. Reservation highly recommended. Definitely a quaint little place. Menu items may change every so often.

What a rare find. Just along our trip from Norfolk to Charlotte, we find a small, cute little bistro with excellent food and excellent wines. It could do with a bit more colourful description of the wines (when you have so much choice), but we were allowed to tasty and choose so it was perfect.

My husband and I ate there and the food was wonderful!!!!! Relaxing atmosphere. Charming decor. Far exceeds the expectations of Lexington, NC. It is a little expensive but well worth the quality of food you. The chef came to our table to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Ahi Tuna and Petite Migno. The food is just as beautiful as it tastes.

Dining here is like what you might expect in a big city. Chicago or New York. Big city tastes and presentation from this sweet little spot in Lexington NC.
We love it and go often.
The wine selection is a step above and pairing g suggestions are always perfect.
We had grouper and duck.
Outstanding!
Go and enjoy.

Our second visit to this quiet, small and romantic restaurant: great food, wine and atmosphere, plus no mask but social distancing! Well worth the drive to Lexington to experience this unique restaurant! Please go and support our small businesses.

My husband and I have dined at this delightful little Bistro several times since retiring to Lexington in 2024. Sadly, we will not be returning. We took relatives visiting from Indiana there this evening. From the outset there were issues, starting with an apparent miscommunication/mix-up with the drink orders between our server and the bartender/proprietor, which we overheard and seemed to be irksome to the proprietor. It was uncomfortable. The food, although good, was not as delicious and spot-on as we’ve experienced in the past (filets were ordered medium-rare but delivered medium). Perhaps most disconcerting was having to view the military parade on the television monitor directly in our line of sight. In such divided political times, not being subjected to this establishment’s political views would have been such a welcome and relaxing diversion, especially since we were entertaining out of town relatives. Best of luck to this sweet little Lexington gem.

The filet mignon was very dry; not much food at all for $46. It was not worth what we paid for the meal. Sorry, but so disappointed after hearing about Wine Cellars Bistro.
