Simple, clean, and riverside! This motel exceeded my expectations for a no-frills stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the river views were serene. It was OK. Unfortunately a lot of these small shops in downtown Lewisburg are trendy destination type of shops in refurbished old buildings with products that are good but not really exceptional. As a result they are usually on the expensive side and the products overpriced.
On the other hand, it’s a relatively affluent area but a small town so their very existence adds a lot of value, things to do and places to go that are not frequently found in towns of this size, kudos for that, and it adds a lot of vibrancy for those living there. Normally I’d rate it 3 stars but considering the location and size of the city, definitely 4 stars. I would recommend stopping there if in the area and looking for something sweet.

The Sweet Shoppe is a good spot for pleasant drinks and a great DJ on the weekends. My only complaints are the pricey beer and that it can some times have very few people to occupy the space.
