This meal was decent for the lunch price, but I wouldn’t recommend it at full price. The brisket was the highlight and tasted really good, but the pulled pork was dry and the bun had an odd texture, which took away from the dish. The service was also disappointing. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet we waited over 10 minutes to receive menus after being seated.

We checked out Kentucky Bourbon & BBQ and had a mixed experience overall. The food was just okay. I wouldn’t recommend the chicken sandwiches. The buns weren’t toasted and the overall flavour was pretty underwhelming. That said, the steak sandwich was surprisingly good and absolutely worth the price. If you’re going to eat here, that’s the one to go for.

The cocktails were a bit of a letdown, nothing too memorable or unique, so if you’re planning to have drinks, I’d suggest going for a pitcher of beer instead. The Caesar salad was a pleasant surprise though, especially with the dressing on the side. It wasn’t too greasy and had a nice, fresh crunch.

The service was friendly and attentive throughout, and the outdoor patio was decent. Not the most atmospheric, but still a nice option for summer dining.

Overall, it’s an okay spot if you’re nearby and want something casual, but not a place we’d go out of our way for unless we were craving that steak sandwich again.

In the area so we stopped in for a late lunch. It was busy on the patio since it was so nice outside. We decided to sit inside. Ordered burnt ends and beef brisket sandwiches. The burnt ends were phenomenal, melt in your mouth with delicious bbq sauce.

Seems like the crowd here is everyone under 30 and who love to drink. Definitely not a place for us we felt ignored. Our service slacked because of how busy it was and waited forever for our bill. We eventually just got up and paid at the bar.

Relaxed atmosphere and good food create a very good experience here.
We had a burger, quesadilla, ceassr wrap and all were excellent. The fire table outside is a nice touch.
Prices are decent too.
Overall it was a good experience

I visited this place with a friend last week for dinner. We ordered the brisket poutine and wings with Nashville sauce, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing—especially the wings. The meat lacked flavor, and we couldn’t taste the Nashville sauce at all.

The poutine was extremely salty and not enjoyable. The service also wasn’t great. Even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy, we had to wait more than 30 minutes to receive our order.

Overall, the experience wasn’t good and did not meet our expectations.

Great environment, the drinks we got were good. However, Laura refused service, was rude the whole time, thankfully another server came, I don’t know her name, but she was an angel and served us.

Great food. Shared the Burnt ends appetizer, which was abundant and very tasty. Note: Eat the burnt ends with the pickled onions and pickles and it’ll elevate your experience. Kentucky needs to add more pickled onions and pickles though. Also had the Mac Daddys smashed burger, and Pulled Pork sandwich, both with fries. Both were excellent. From another comment, yes I agree that the buns need to be toasted. Makes for a better flavourful experience. Definitely a great place, great food, and decent service, and I’d come back again and again. Good spot. This place has earned being a regular hangout.

The place has a charming, rustic design that we really enjoyed, creating a cozy atmosphere. However, the food was just average and didn’t particularly stand out. We also had an issue with the service when I asked the waitress to change my beer glass due to a rancid smell she seemed offended and surprised, which made the situation uncomfortable. Overall, it was an okay experience.

We stopped in here while doing a waterloo pub crawl. The place is very cool inside, the staff were super friendly and they had a decent selection of beers on tap.
