Overall, the sushi was excellent. Very high quality food and super friendly staff. We were given warm towels at the beginning of our dining experience which was pretty nice. It’s on the pricier side but if you’re looking for a nice option out with your friends/significant other this is a great suburban spot.

This seemingly humble sushi spot was delicious. I eat a lot of sushi and coming from out of town, this was super good. The fish was fresh and I honestly appreciated the simplicity of the rolls. Not too much rice in them and just focused on good quality fish. I walked in before closing and they were so welcoming. If you’re hungry they will make sure you’re fed! Such a sweet staff. They even gave me a sampling of a mackerel stew that was also fresh and delicious. Last even my wine was delicious. Not oxidized or days old. Highly recommend this place.

Living in the area, I’m always on the lookout for a good sushi restaurant. I have a couple that I go to, and they are good enough to satiate me.
This place though. The ambience is beautiful. The wood and gold is just so pretty. The lights are low enough to be romantic, but not dim enough that you can’t see what you’re eating. There is also a second floor that would be perfect for a girls night out. Secluded and private.
The fish. You come to a sushi place for the fish. It was exceptional here. It was so buttery and smooth. I couldn’t stop eating it. And I wasn’t even sorry I didn’t share. The cuts were generous and thick. I was told the chef goes every morning to pick out the fish, and you can tell. It is top notch. The spicy tuna maki was so damn delicious. I didn’t take a picture because we ate it too fast. Next time!
The dumplings could be a meal of their own. Juicy meat filling dunked in a chili sauce that juuuuuuust leaves a tingle on your tongue. Fabulous!!
I wouldn’t say it’s the best family restaurant. The space is small and intimate. Perfect for date nights and girl friend dates!!!
I will be back for carry out and date nights. I’m so glad it is so close to my house! It’s a great addition to Lincolnshire.

Love this new addition to Lincolnshire food scene – simply, it’s the best quality sushi you can find in the area.
The chef hand picks each ingredient and will not serve anything that isn’t top notch. I’ve been a couple of times and have tried different menu items and have enjoyed each dish thoroughly.
The restaurant is very nicely outfitted, the staff super friendly and warm. I would recommend it for a romantic dinner, and intimate gathering with friends, a nice celebration with family, or just to give yourself a nice dinner treat.

More people need to know about this place! Chef Jino has over 40 years of experience and has opened over 10 restaurants! His take on sushi/Japanese food is so comforting and has a twist of Korean in it.
Our group really enjoyed our Chef’s counter tasting menu experience. The maki rolls and hand rolls were AMAZING and had the most filling I’ve ever had anywhere (including expensive sushi restaurants/omakases). He also served a “Bulgogi” dish that was cooked on a beautiful gold pan right at the sushi counter. The meat and noodles were mixed in with a raw egg was just SO comforting and flavorful (the hot broth, meat, and japchae noodles cooked the egg into creamy goodness). It felt like eating at your Korean friend’s grandma’s house. The kimchi selection that came with the dish was all homemade and the best kimchis I have ever had (and I have a Korean fiance!).
I hope people get to try out this hidden gem in Lincolnshire. Chef Jino puts so much love and care into his food. Dean will also take care of you with the best cocktail and sake selections. The service was so warm and friendly. You will not be disappointed!! This isn’t just Good Sushi – it was GREAT SUSHI!!
