MaPatisserie is a family-owned dessert shop & bakery located in the heart of Reading, PA. Inspired by our three beautiful children, MaPatisserie encompasses the joy and heart-warming feeling of tasty, homemade delights. Our menu items are prepared, just like home, fresh from beginning to end. We intend to provide a comfortable atmosphere of leisure time. We have no pre-made items so every menu item is served fresh. Yohanna Taveras, owner of MaPatisserie graduated from the Escoffier Culinary School and specializes in French and Dominican Pastries. Stop in for a sip of our delicious coffee and a refreshing bite of one of our many wonderful treats.

Great cafe and very cute atmosphere! The food was very good, and the service was friendly and good. My husband loved the turkey and cheese sandwich. The teas are very good. And we really enjoyed the pistachio croissant.
Great place and definitely recommend checking it out! Just note that it can get busy, so I recommend going a little off-hours. We went around 1pm on a Sunday and there was no wait.

Cutest little cafe in downtown Reading. The service was excellent- I think the servers were truly French and were on their game. The decor was unbelievable and appreciated the French music too. We ordered the avocado toast and chicken panini. They were both excellent. They definitely knew how to make an avocado toast! Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend trying it out! It was decorated beautifully, the service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. The turkey melt sandwich was probably one of the best I ever had. There were many different tea options. The owner was so sweet and friendly! I would love to try the afternoon tea. Will definitely be returning and recommending to my friends and family!

What a gem here in Reading! Yes, I’m very jealous as I wish it were in Lancaster! What a total experience walking into this place! Decor and atmosphere to a time that once was! The food, amazing…..th staff, super friendly! I would highly recommend the fruit punch! Wish it was able to be purchased on the way out! Would’ve taken a half gallong home! When you first walk in you’ll be struck by how cute and elegant things are! Rocco style for sure. The food menue is small but the croissant sandwiches we go were very much worth the wait. Great bread, so buttery, and fluffy egg with seasoned vegetables (add on). This is also a tea house, with lots of options, we choose strawberry pineapple. The flavor was mild, but nice. Beautiful decor, and very friendly employees made us feel welcomed. My only criticism is the wait. Start to finish we were there about 80 minutes, and we were not just talking after our meal that was the wait with only a few others in the café. Were everything else made up for that. Lastly we took a dulce de leche cake to go which was moist and soft.

I really wanted to like this place, but our visit was honestly frustrating from start to finish. The waitress who handled our table felt extremely inexperienced and inattentive. We were seated well before several other tables, yet somehow they all received their food before we did.
To make things worse, in the middle of taking our order she suddenly stopped to chat with another customer she recognized. Something about her gym, or just started catching up like we weren’t even there. No “excuse me,” no pause, nothing. After that, she barely came back to check on us at all.
At one point I accidentally spilled my water, and instead of the waitress noticing or offering to help, it was a young man on staff who stepped in to clean it up. He was actually great; friendly, efficient, and the only person who seemed to know what he was doing. He also brought out our food and handled it professionally.
The restaurant wasn’t even busy, so there really wasn’t any excuse for the lack of attention or awareness. The young waitress clearly needs more training and a better understanding of basic service. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed the rest of the experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place based on our visit.

My friend and I visited on a Wednesday at lunch. Parking was easy to find on the street…just be prepared to pay using Park Mobile. There were 3-4 tables already occupied, but there was still plenty of seating for the two of us. As others have said-this is a CUTE place. The atmosphere is an A. Because it was lunch…service wasn’t super quick, but it also wasn’t slow! We had our lunch served in less than an hour. I loved my chicken cranberry croissant. My friend enjoyed her meal too. This was my first visit and I will be coming back with more friends!

I saw this place on tik tok and I had to check it out with my mom since we love coffee and discovering new places. The decor is immaculate-it truly transports you somewhere else. Our drinks were delicious and the food was top tier. Service was also very friendly and attentive. My mom is always telling me we should go again!
