The bbq and sides are first rate! It would be hard to find better in the area. Had a 2 meat platter, a baked potato bowl and a mac n cheese bowl. The meats sampled were pork and turkey. Meat can be plain or with your choice of several sauces. Service was quick. The only drawback is its basically take out with picnic tables if you eat there. Its hard to eat bbq with plastic ware.
Do give it a try, its some of the best.

Simply incredible. Outrageously delicious Hershey’s ice cream shakes. Barbecue the likes of which you’ve never seen: ribs, pulled pork, brisket, wings, and so much more.
Outstanding sides like a top notch Mac n cheese, baked potatoes, and as usual, much more.
Fantastic BBQ sauce options for all.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Lovely people run the place, too. RUN, do NOT WALK to Southern BBQ. You won’t regret it.

A stand on front street, had ribs pulled pork and baked beans. Ribs and pork were cooked perfectly, beans were a little sweet. Will definitely be back.

I’m a huge BBQ fan and this is hands down probably the best I’ve had in the area we had to go out by lake Tobias today and on our way back we saw this BBQ place . My wife and I had the pulled pork . We had beans Mac and cheese and corn bread and coleslaw for sides all outstanding there BBq is perfect mixed with the coleslaw was perfect.
My son got a loaded potato and of course ice cream.
Don’t pass this place up it’s a missed opportunity to get some great grub

First time I ate there was February 2024. Stopped there with two buddies on the way to a weekend in Lockhaven. Was looking for a different alternative to Skeeters BBQ which has a great view but…higher prices and definitely not as good .
Saw it had a bunch of stars and decided to try it. Food was excellent, prices were affordable, and service was great. They have a picnic area but it was cold so we just ate in the car. Would recommend it 110%.
Then my family went on a trip to Finger Lakes and stopped there on way in Summer of 2024. It was just as good and my wife and 3 girls loved it as well. This time Sat in the picnic area.
Third time, just a couple weeks ago on way to Lockhaven again with the guys. Place is amazing. Recommended to all the other guys heading up to Lockhaven as well for our weekend.

The food here is phenomenal. You will not be disappointed. Scott and Kelly and the rest of the staff are amazing. They treat you like family. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu choices. The prices are very very reasonable. Love this place and keep coming back for more of that loaded turkey potatoe. Keep up the amazing work guys.

Scott brings true Southern style BBQ to Sunbury. I died and went to heaven eating ribs right there at his picnic table. They were fall off the bone tender with just enough crunch from the glaze to give ’em a great mouth feel..
