Unfortunately, the
Atascadero Chipotle sucks. The food was horrible. The Carne asada was too salty and chopped into huge pieces. The chips were stale and they had no lime flavor at all. When I asked for another bag of chips I got a strange look and they said they make them fresh daily. Sorry but that is a lie. My fiance and I only ate half before our stomachs started hurting. We paid $58.16 for 2 bowls with extra meat. The portions were so small. One of the employees went on break to his car to vape and when he came back in he never washed his hands. This place is disgusting. I recommend San Luis Obispo Chipotle instead. The atmosphere is better. They don’t play such Loud music where you can’t carry on a conversation. The food is fresh and you get great portions for your money.
We will never come back to this Chipotle again

The employees looked like they hate their job, especially the girl with the dramatic eyelashes who took my order. Her attitude was horrible. They were standing around when I got there. They needed fresh rice, grilled veggies and to clean the area around the food and make it look presentable. The grill needed cleaning as well. I don’t say this so the managers could reprimand them. Im hoping the management find ways to boost their morale and improve the customer service. For now, I will not go back.

One of the female employees, I believe her name starts with a M, I saw her spit in my food right infront of me as she was making my bowl…i was completely shocked and overall confused…will be returning. 10/10 service (Spit tasted like Subway which gave my bowl some extra zest)

I went here in the afternoon and was very disappointed. My order was correct and everything but the chicken was kinda hard and didn’t have seasonings, the rice was also very bland it didn’t taste like lime at all as it usually does. I also ordered a side of chips and they were very stale. After I ate I went to use the restroom and there was a puddle of pee on the floor and on the toilet seat. Bathroom was gross. And zero toilet paper it looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in days.

I was a little nervous to try it because I saw some bad reviews of this Chipotle location based on issues with them being out of menu items and getting orders wrong. But we just went there for the first time and I gotta say, everything was great. They got our orders right and the food was good and plentiful. Either we got lucky or some improvements have been made, I hope it’s the latter. I had seen some reviews mentioning they were stingy with toppings but we had no issues, they gave us plenty of guac on our burrito bowls too. We’ll be back and hopefully we’ll have a good experience next time too!
