My girlfriend and I ended up at Guadalajara Restaurant because we were house sitting for her sister in West Palm Beach. She has some really fond memories from this place, so we decided to stop by while we were in the area.

The experience was okay overall. The food and drinks were nothing special for me. I ordered a piña colada and it was extremely sweet. She ordered a margarita and she liked it. We shared tacos and chips, and everything tasted like regular, standard food. Nothing stood out, but nothing was terrible either.

The service was fine. Not exceptional, but not bad. The atmosphere was very busy and crowded, which is not my favorite type of setting since I prefer something more relaxed. However, I can see why people who have memories here enjoy it. My girlfriend likes it because it brings her back to moments she remembers fondly, so in that sense it felt nice to share that with her.

For me it was an average experience, but it meant something to her, and that made the visit worth it.

An absolute must visit… the atmosphere and menu are way more than your standard Tex-mex places. Super friendly staff and amazing food.

This spot is a **true hidden gem**—and let me tell you, they serve up **the best carne asada tacos** I’ve ever tasted. Every time I go, I easily put away **at least seven**, and I have absolutely no shame about it! When the food is this good, you don’t hold back.

It can get pretty busy, especially around peak hours, but honestly? **That’s just proof of how incredible the food is.** The quality never misses, and everything is **fairly priced**, making it a no-brainer for taco lovers.

Just a heads-up—if you’re rolling in with a group of four or more, **plan ahead!** Lunch and dinner rushes can fill up fast, and you don’t want to be stuck waiting when you could be diving into these mouthwatering tacos.

Bottom line? **This place is worth every visit, every bite, and every taco.**

Ordered a LARGE queso and chips. $8.25 and got 1/2 a cup of queso and half a small bag of chips. When I asked for more chips they said it would be $3.00. This portion size is more than disappointing for the price.

Fun atmosphere with lots of decorations and a small shop with more trinkets for sale. Prices were reasonable but I felt the food was a bit salty for my taste. Really liked the salsa carafe with the additional hot sauces that were brought out as soon as we sat down.
We each got a lunch combo and it was tasty but saltier than I prefer. Still would recommend Guadalajara Restaurant for authentic Mexican food.

This local Mexican restaurant is great.
Looks simple from the outside and super festive on the inside. Has a small store on the inside where they sell craft goods from Mexico.
The food is fabulous with really good prices. Good drinks as well. The steak tacos were great. The burritos were really full.
They also have awesome chips and salsa and hot salsas tableside.
We have gotten it to go and dine in. Both were great.

UPDATE – originally gave a five star review but the second time visiting it was far from a five star experience. The food came out luke-warn and, for two $9.99 burritos, our food bill was over $30 because they up-charged us for a service fee and additional chips and salsa. Not cool. Will not return.

¡Fantástico! Authentic and delicious with HUGE portions, guaranteed to make you leave fat and happy! Oh, did I mention cheap? On top of all that, the service is great! Delicious chips and salsa are complimentary when seated. Very nice menu selection! Cool restaurant with great vibe! When you are in the Lake Park area, be sure to hit this place up! You’ll be glad you did!!

Every time we eat here, it’s amazing. The salsa is hands down a religious experience. You can’t go wrong with anything here, but you absolutely need to try a traditional beef tongue taco.

Everyone is so nice here and I love the decor. The closest thing to Mexican food you can get in south Florida without going to Mexico.

11/10, our new favorite spot.
