I saw this place on Instagram and I was like, guess ill be giving it a try. Stormy tried it and she gave a good review so I said ill give it a try. I got the cinnamon roll, 2 peach cobbler, banana pudding and apple walnut cobbler. The banana pudding was good. Not too sweet. The peach and apple cobbler were really good. Plenty of dough, perfect combo. The cinnamon roll , my lady ate that before I could try it, she liked it. If im up that way again ill definitely stop by and get more.

My husband and I went out looking for something sweet after dinner and boy oh boy did we find a gem! I had the peach cobbler with ice cream and he had the Oreo Banana Pudding! The cobbler was hot, fresh and delicious. From the cinnamon to the sliced peaches and the healthy amount of crust!! Definitely a 10/10! I ate mine in the car. My husband’s Oreo banana pudding was good too! I prefer plain banana pudding, but he loved it! We will be back!!

I was honestly disappointed. The blackberry cobbler had way too little crust, and the filling was just pie filling, which is unacceptable for a cobbler. Pie filling is overly thick. This place would be better suited as a food truck to save on overhead cost. They should consider revamping their ingredients, reducing the sugar, and avoiding the use of pie filling altogether. Customer service was nice but I make better cobbler than this. I will not visit again but definitely check it out for yourself. Blackberry peach was my fave. I tried several. Banana pudding was 6/10

Ordered my food through DoorDash. All honesty, I give it. 4.8 out of 5. Before I get into it, I thoroughly enjoyed my sweet treat! The cinnamon bun was still warm when I got it! It was nice and soft, the apples were cooked perfectly, and the icing wasn’t overly sweet. My husband loved his banana pudding! Now two reasons for the 4.8: one, the $6.99 delivery fee through DoorDash is wild. Idk if that has to do with the facility, DoorDash, or both, but there are a plethora of places that are in Newport News that have free delivery or just the extra charge for the distance (like $0.49 or something like that). Two, the portion size for the price I think is a little more than I would pay. Maybe it’s a little less in person? I believe the banana pudding was $8 and the cinnamon bun was $7. But nonetheless, I would still get this again and try the different flavors/toppings they have to offer. Might have to take that drive and visit one day.

First time here visiting, the blackberry cobbler and ice cream was amazing just like home made. The cafe was clean and the aroma as you walk in the door so good! Would definitely come here again 10/10!

Awesome new dessert eatery in Newport News. A true hidden gem tucked off Jefferson Ave. Only open 3 months, but that hasn’t stopped them from doing a fantastic job of a small menu of homemade desserts.
Favorites Red Velvet Pudding, and Carmel Apple Cobbler.
All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Very helpful to this guide. You can eat in or take your order to go. You must try The Cobbler Cafe.

Went today after a friend suggested it for my pregnancy craving and they did not disappoint. The store was pretty and clean. The customer service was excellent. I got the peach cobbler and a side of ice cream and a red velvet banana pudding. They were both delicious. I wish I could’ve taken better photos but I was so hungry I tore them up faster then I could think about it. My man got an apple cobbler and I would’ve eaten his too if I won’t soo full. The apple was amazing, however apple is typically my preference. Will definitely come back again.

This peach cobbler was sooo good. I stopped as I was doing some running around and ate it in the car after it cooled down, I was ready to back track and try another favor. I will be back and the next time I won’t just get 1.

TASTY, GREAT, DELICIOUS!!! Are a few words that come to mind. I was lucky to come across this hidden treasure located in Newport News, VA. I wanted cobbler taste so I googled places and this came up. Locally, minority owned business I had the honor of speaking to the owner during my visit. You will not be disappointed you will leave out planning your next visit.
