Yesterday I attended a macaron-making workshop. It was a fantastic experience; I learned how to make the dessert of my dreams! Thanks to the teacher who showed us all the intricacies of making this delicious dessert! I was so excited to go and buy every flavor they had the person that helped at checkout was amazing. Unfortunately the macarons were lackluster The Filling was barely there and many of the more subtle flavors just tasted like almond flour. This was my first experience with macarons other than my own, so I am not expert, just giving my opinion.

So I’ll say the quality of the food was pretty good. I got some treats via variety bag from too good to go. The freshness and everything was good. I actually liked the other things more than the macaroons.
The macaroons mainly tasted of sugar with very little flavor. I’ve had leagues better macaroons from a non-mackaroon shop. That’s not too far. At least flavor wise.
The texture, the feel and like everything that makes up a macaroons body was there and was great. Just the flavor was not there apart from sweet. And I could not really taste any of the various flavors The macaroons were supposed to have.
The other items had good flavor and good texture so I don’t know but not somewhere. I think I’ll be returning to again, especially for the price.

The Macarons were good. The selection was smaller than we expected based on the flavors listed on the website. My little guy was disappointed that they didnt have birthday cake or vanilla, but he really enjoyed the pistachio! If we are ever back in town we will try again.
