A relaxing delicious dinner on our first visit to King City Kitchen on SSI. Friendly, prompt service; fresh, tasty food. I kept forgetting to take pics before we dove in, everything we ordered was splendid. Cran balls, salmon (subbed the rice for potatoes), lightly blackened shrimp, & cheesecake.

This was their 18 ounce ribeye . And it was the most amazing steak I’ve had in quite some time . They offer it and small portions due. But if you get the 18 ounce you can share it with your friends. The presentation and everything was amazing. That atmosphere. The Service is amazing is a boutique style atmosphere and you know your food is not precooked. The salads are not premade there. Make fresh everything about this place is fresh and delicious. It’s worth the time to check it out. I eat breakfast lunch and dinner. They’re most days and they’re desserts are amazing and their bread services. homemade bread. I can’t say enough about this place.

Alison was our server and she was more than accommodating and so sweet. I got the salmon, cream cheese, and capers omelet (10/10 will get it again) and my date got the classic breakfast.
The banana bread latte was in the top 5 lattes I’ve ever had.

Everything was great except for those cold, chewy hash browns. The server basically told me I was wrong, that they are made fresh and they are not cold and chewy. Rather than saying, “oh, my apologies. Can I get you something else,” she instead defended them and seemed upset that I questioned the quality of their breakfast potatoes aka hash browns. Because I was raised right, we still left a nice tip to help cover the PTSD from me complaining about their precious potatoes. Bless her heart. BTW, I voiced my disappointment like they advise on the bottom of their receipt (see the image below). I was ignored.

We’ve been to King City Kitchen for breakfast/brunch countless times and always had excellent food and service. Tonight we went for dinner and the experience was fantastic. Entrees were great and the cocktails were creative. The service provided by Sam was outstanding. Awesome to see how this place has transformed from a favorite local breakfast spot to a place for breakfast and weekend dinner and drinks in a great environment. All while keeping some of the history with the mural and old photos on display.

Had a top notch chai latte, crab cake sandwich, and seasoned fries. Everything was good but the crab cake was excellent. Nice atmosphere, very clean and well appointed. Friendly staff. One of the many places in SSI that deserves a visit.

Fabulous food right by the st Simon’s pier! It’s upscale and great vibe and everything we got was good. Some of the reviews are complaining of price, but this isn’t Waffle House! One BIG plus is the coffee, espresso, coffee drinks, iced and hot were all excellent, something hard to find in the SSI village area!

I went with my daughter for dinner and it did not disappoint!! We started with bread service and mwah!! Focaccia with clarified garlic butter…somebody finally doesn’t beat their bread down to a tough puck! Light with a crunch! She got a cheese burger w/ Cajun fries…loved it! I got blackened shrimp with cheese grits and a salad. Everything we tasted was better than the last. Can’t wait to go back!!

Hands down the best steak and burger on the island! Born and raised on the island, Ive tried them all. My wife and I went a few weeks ago and I had the wagyu steak special and its the best I’ve ever had. Service and drinks were great too. I love watching the old island pictures that play on loop also. Great Sunday brunch too. Can’t wait to go back. Take it from a local, if visiting the island you need to check out King City kitchen.
