Southern accent is one of my favorite food trucks. They do a lot of fun events, the first time I had them was at Cascade Equinox and I’m excited to see them there again this year!! The chicken strips and fries were exactly what we needed on day two after a long day and night of dancing! The shrimp Po boy sandwich is another awesome menu item! Definitely give them a try!

You may be waiting longer than the folks you’re with who ordered from other food trucks, but it’ll be worth the wait! Ordered the red beans & rice and a basket of chicken strips & fries to share. The red beans & rice was so full of southern flavor that I was briefly transported back to Louisiana. The chicken strips had well seasoned breading and were fried to perfection sealing in tender, juicy white meat. This certainly won’t be my last time eating here. 10/10 for the food & hospitable service!

Had the Nashville sandwich, the chicken was juicy and tasty. Definitely packed some heat! It was a good sized sandwich. The gentleman who was working the cart was friendly and got the food out in a timely manner. Check it out if you’re in the area!

unfortunately this place gave us food poisoning at cascade equinox festival! Not terrible, but we’ve all had upset stomachs for days. thought it was just me and my partner (hit us directly after eating), but we talked to another group and 3 other people also got sick directly after eating the rice bowl. Still giving 2 stars because it tasted good but at what cost. The people were so nice tho

I thought I found the best chicken sandwiches at a restaurant in LA. I was gravely mistaken. Southern Accent has the best chicken sandwiches by far.
Huge portions, immaculate flavor. 12/10.

I’ve been to Southern Accent 3 times now, and each time I’ve been impressed. A little tip from someone that loves chicken wings, SA has the best wings in Bend. Don’t waste your money on overpriced, trash wings at Fire On The Mountain. These guys are the real deal.

Hands down, the best fried pickles and red beans & rice that I’ve had since I moved to Oregon from the South. Seriously, great food.

Boom! Tastes like the South! We had a Voodoo Bowl (Spicy), The Jumbalaya was quickly made but tasty ; but the Star was the Fried Pickles!! I’m looking forward to coming back for the Po’ Boys!

Got the chicken po’ boy and the red beans and rice. Thought there wasn’t enough chicken on the po’ boy and the flavor was just alright. The red beans and rice was really bland and had very little salt which is something I very rarely complain about. Fries were bland and not special at all. Guessing they are premade frozen ones, not worth the up charge IMO.

I’m always on the look out for a super tasty salad! I’ve found another! Delicious food with healthy options. So thankful I live so close. Something else I should mention is the excellent service. I was given cauliflower on the house because they didn’t make as much as they normally do. I would have been none the wiser unless they told me. I will absolutely come back again and again. I know I can trust the service and the food.
