Best Thai food around here, even better than ones I had in Nashville. I highly recommend coming here for authentic food if you have time to spare. There’s only one person working, a older lady, who I assume is the cook, and sometimes I think her son or daughter come help, so just know you might need to wait a bit but the food is worth it, 10/10. I only had to wait like 10minutes or so both times I went though so it wasn’t that long of a wait, and I love that food is cooked super fresh. Can’t wait to come back again. The dandan noodles is my favorite, I like getting it Hot spiciness level, not the Asian Hot as that is too spicy for me but the Hot level is just perfect. Next favorite I like the glass noodle. There’s a huge parking lot beside it and an outdoor seating area.
I have been here several times after my initial visit and each time is pleasant experience with great food. I love interacting with the cook lady every time I come here to order because she seems to genuinely love her business and cooking.

Was recommended this place by my coworker. My son and I both got the chicken Pad Thai and it was delicious. WAY more food than I was expecting! We weighed one of our containers when we got home and, even after my son had ate some out of his, there was over 2lbs of food. Can’t wait to try everything else on the menu!

If you haven’t been to Smiling Mama, you are missing out on a hidden gem in BG. Portions are generous, staff are polite, and the food is delicious. Happened upon it on accident; saw it had good reviews and gave it a try. After at least a dozen trips, I can say quality is consistent and it’s a favorite. Great that you can choose your spice level. Plenty of options but not an overly complicated menu. Serving is enough to enjoy half and save the other half for lunch the next day. Price is reasonable, especially given the portions. I don’t think I could find takeout at the same price point nearby that is freshly cooked and includes vegetables let alone one so incredibly delicious. Highly recommend.

Stopped in Smiling Mama’s restaurant for lunch, which is takeout only. Place specializes in Thai and Burmese food with daily specials that differ from the main menu. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the meal was very good! Would have been great, but my pork sticks were not hot, but that wasn’t a huge deal. My pad thai with shrimp (3 dollars up charge) was great, and I had to work hard not to try to eat the entire container sitting in my car. Pork sticks were delicious, too. The parking lot filled up nicely after opening. Great place, wasn’t a cheap meal, though.

I want to the store with my families today and all I could say is it’s worth everything. The food is very good at a large portion size. The wok smell is there and it really does bring the feeling of Thai foods. The staff is very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We’re traveling through the area and I am so happy we stopped for Thai food. Huge portions made to order. Very flavorful. We had pad Thai with chicken (yum!) and pineapple fried rice with veggies (the egg was perfect!). Great take away!

Absolutely love the people who run the shop. They are lovely and hospitable and the food they serve is excellent. Some of the best noodles I have had since I have been to the United States. They also gave me fried tofu complimentary. I recommend the fried noodles…it is just perfectly made.
