Update: they contacted me the next morning and offered me sushi or a refund. I got my sushi and they were very polite.
Posted hours do not match when they are open, and they will accept orders when nobody is there to make the food. They did not answer their phone, either. If the owners contact me and right this wrong, I will happily update my review.

I REALLY wanted to like this place after hearing rave reviews from locals and was excited to try them. Ordered in advance online, still waited over half an hour for my food once arriving. That would have been forgivable if the food was good, but it just wasn’t. I was shocked when I saw the rolls – I’ve never seen a smaller sushi roll, and most of them were just… Bland. They added some sauces to help (no wasabi) but what we got really wasn’t much above Safeway quality, at easily double the cost. I know inflation is driving up costs and whatnot but even taking that into consideration I was really surprised. Two of the rolls looked like half-rolls to me. Unfortunately, it just missed the mark for us. Maybe we got the wrong items but at the prices I don’t think we will go back to try again. Bummer.

They advertise that you can order online for pick up or delivery but they are never accepting any orders and you call the numbers they have listed (3 phone numbers)only to have no one answer you. If you’re not going to have these services available maybe don’t offer them. This is an everyday issue.

The food was always mediocre at best. But today we had a horrible experience. I went to buy a Boba drink and the total was $16.50 something so I said “is that for 1 drink?” And the lady said “yes for 1” I have bad anxiety and hate conflict, so my mom went over to confront them and say I need a refund since it’s only supposed to be $7.50 plus tax. The lady in Spanish said she knew I wanted 1 but didnt speak English to tell me. She had to call the owner to get a refund. It took about 20 minutes for all of this. She knew I wanted a drink, charged me for two, and when I asked if she was charging for 1 she said “1 drink, yes.” The owner did come and refund but this was a horrible experience and wouldn’t recommend.
I speak Spanish, she didnt try to even try to speak to me. She spoke to me fine in English. When I asked a question she said “yes, 1 drink” but later told my mom she doesn’t speak English. She is using a language barrier as an excuse for her mistake.
