Want some Chinese so I tried jumbos first time ordering here and I love egg foo young so I got the combination platter with the fried rice and eggroll and it was all delicious

My sister and I tried this restaurant for the first time the other day. We got combination platters which came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I had shrimp and broccoli. My sister had chicken and broccoli. When I got the food home and opened the container, the rice smelled spoiled and funny. I kept smelling because I wasn’t sure what was wrong. Then when I heated the food up, it was like the smell got even worse. I called to explain the situation with the restaurant and the owner (I’m assuming) picked up the phone. It was a woman, but an older woman. Not the young lady who took my order earlier that day. As soon as I said what the issue was, she started over talking me and said she would refund me the money and while I was not asking for money back, but just wanted to inform her, she kept on over talking me and hung up the phone in my ear. I went over to the restaurant because she really did upset me and I also wanted her to smell the rice. I couldn’t get a word in edge wise. I kept trying to say I didn’t want the money, but at that point she was very irate and rude, she kept over talking and now I’m annoyed as a paying customer. My intention has turned from informing to, this is not how you treat people. And I told her about her bad attitude and unprofessional behavior. She was hitting things In the restaurant and kicking boxes. My sister was with me, we don’t know WHAT was going on. Needless to say, we were refunded and we won’t ever be going back or patronizing that business. Her attitude was totally unacceptable and uncalled for.

I ordered delivery while having a slipped disc in my back. My order came and there was no sweet and sour red sauce for the sweet and sour chicken. I live 8 mins away and the lady told me to come pick it up. When I explained that I physically can’t pick it up right now and why she said well we don’t have a driver and hung the phone up on me.
I never again will order food from this circus again. I have a dry disgusting meal that I can’t even eat and I tried to eat because I was so hungry but couldn’t. Waste of money and time. Now I have to find something else to eat and a way to physically make it because they have my money and I can hardly walk.

We ordered here tonight as a 1st time guest. We had egg rolls(good!), hot & sour soup(great!), the diet broccoli only meal with sauce on the side and vegetable fried rice(great!), and walnut shrimp(great!). We thought the food was pretty great. Service was excellent. Would order again.

The portions of their combination platters were small but the food was fresh and tasty. The server who appeared to be the owner was friendly and accommodating. The chicken with broccoli was better than the beef with broccoli. The egg roll could have used a little more meat but was crispy.

Our 1st time there. Staff very kind and was patient w our questions(as been awhile for us having Asian food). Affordable prices, decent portions, food was fresh and hot! They will customize too if want different flavors. Will definitely be back 🙂

I visit York often as an entry point to Lancaster and wanted something different than a chain restaurant. I tried Jumbo after the seeing some good reviews.
Let’s get the BAD out first. Like some reviewers said, some of the dishes were bland. The eggroll was very crisp, but needed flavor, the pork in the Chow Fun was good but the dish tasted flat. Also, not trying to be picky but if you are looking for sitdown Chinese this is important. The restauant is more geared toward take out (giant take out with tables). I was given a paper take out menu, take out bottled water and there are backroom supplies in the dining area.
That said, like many reviewers said, the lady running the front was sweet and provided great service. Also, the fried dumplings were the STAR. I highly recommend them. The soup was small and simple, but flavorful. Ultimately I’d go for takeout only.

I noticed moo shu pork on their menu, which is hard to find in York, PA anymore so decided to give it a try. Glad I did! It is delicious and worth the trip to the west side!

Ordered the General Tso chicken, not the best. The chicken was generic and tasteless. The crab rangoon was soft and chewy. My wife ordered the shrimp and broccoli diet plater that was supposed to have no sauce and no salt. There was sauce and lots of it. It wasn’t horrible, but not really any flavors. Plus side, the wonton soup was decent.
