So glad we tried this place out. The menu is small but varied, and there were lots of specials. The service was fantastic, and the server boxed up our leftovers for us (according to my husband, boxing leftovers is what separates a good restaurant from a great restaurant). The chef came out to ask how the food was and chatted with us, the server was very personable, it felt like we were dining with friends. A little pricey, but worth it. I hope that they thrive in Coatesville, we’ll be back to support them, for sure.

We were excited to hear and have dinner at yet another new restaurant in Coatesville. I had the bone in pork chop which was delicious!!! The “Best” I’ve ever had. My husband had the salmon which he enjoyed as well! All in all a very impressive dinner!!! Can’t wait for the grand opening and will be dining there monthly for sure.

Nice establishment with good food and great service. I had a hamburger, which was a tad bit more well-done than I prefer, but still very good. The fries are amazing. My husband had the hot chicken sandwich. Thankfully the sauce was on the side, as he didn’t care for it. The sandwich is big enough to share, so if we pass this way again, we may just do that.

I got the chicken sandwich which was good, the chicken entree comes with the hot sauce which should be offered as an option or as a side for the chicken sandwich. We enjoyed the dining area which offered large windows, natural light and a front row seat to the action on the street.

Walking in I was greeted by a friendly bartender who, when prompted with “red, dry,” recommended a Malbec, which turned out to be an enjoyable glass. We were there for a party of about 18 people, and we were allotted a large space with high top tables for mingling and a long table for our meal. We were promptly brought appetizers which were interesting, diverse, and tasty. We sat, made our selections, and ordered. The food came out over a period of about 20 minutes, which wasn’t ideal, but I understand they were down a chef due to illness that night. I got the shrimp po boy which was served on ciabatta with a side of corn tortilla chips. The chips were verging on too salted, and they would have made more sense if they had come with something to dip them in. The po boy was good, but between the ciabatta and the salty chips, the dish was on the dry side. They were out of the crème brûlée which was disappointing, but I got the chocolate lava cake which came with two scoops of ice cream. Yum! Dessert was fantastic. Overall it was a great experience, and I’d go again. It wasn’t perfect, but the staff was really friendly which set a good vibe. The architecture is cool, too. It’s the old Coatesville Cultural Society building, and you can tell they are being careful to maintain the ambiance while fixing it up and making it restaurant-shaped.

I went with my friend for an early dinner, first time dining there and it was above my expectations I have to say, Our server was a delight very attentive and super nice helping with making food selections since I very indecisive when it comes to ordering but she was great I had the short rib with mash potatoes and asparagus and it was absolutely amazing the rib was so delicious and every bite was just flavor madness. The mash potatoes and asparagus were cooked to perfection all together everything was so good I was scrapping the plate to have every last morsel.

My wife and I sat down for dinner at the Iron Eagle approximately one year ago; we have not returned.
The service was wonderful, which included a visit to our table by one of the owners.
From there , things went from South, and beyond.
The culinary experience was not only disappointing ( I am praying for a restaurant to finally anchor the legitimacy of the viability of Coatesville ) , it was clear the chef was over their head- the elementals were clearly out of the can , and the dishes lifeless, uninspired.
This review pains me , because I was eager to encourage a vibrant and promising establishment; but it is clear that the chef is either forced to, or is, willing to take short cuts over quality and thought, and passion.
The lighting is glaring and unnatural; it is akin to the laundromat down the street ( there, the otherworldly lighting gives over an honest impression of your detergent’s cleaning power )
I beg of the owners and the chef a reassessment of why they opened the Iron Eagle; look into their culinary collective memories of Ratatouille intensity, and bring from their hearts fresh, local , and honest .
