Truly a special meal. This was BETTER than the photos. Every single thing we ate (baked mozzarella, parfait, salmon Benedict, apple pancake) was so incredibly delicious. Honestly the best meal of the trip. Service was also wonderful. So glad we made the trip out here.

Food was delicious. We paid ahead to get the 3-course brunch. Limited menu already but then they didn’t have everything available. Server never checked in on us. We caught another server to get another coffee. He topped me off…with COLD coffee. Waited 20 minutes for our desert that was pre-made (no reason to wait). When the bill came they added a 20% gratuity (didn’t earn it). She tried to tell us it was a service fee for buying the tickets online. I already paid $8 for that. Could’ve been great. We were there 90 minutes. I would not recommend.

The food. The ambiance. The flipping delicious cookies. Stop what you’re doing and plan a brunch here. We got there and the horses were having their breakfast in the pasture. We were offered rosemary citrus water and Mimosas. Every course was delicious. I can’t stress this enough that I would live at Black Star Farms.

This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely amazing food, wonderful waitstaff and option to sit outside and enjoy the views.
I only thought to take a photo of the salad after we devoured our appetizer, but the whole meal was wonderful. Thanks to the chef and waitstaff, we had great food and a fun time. Next review I’ll show more photos!!!

This place is a MUST. Such amazing food I will be coming back every year for our annual family trip! Our margarita pizza was the best I’ve ever had and the baked mozzarella was to die for (I’ll be dreaming of it until we return next year). Such a gem.

Stopped in at the bistro while visiting black start farms. Was able to explore some of the grounds while waiting for our table. Also have a place to feed goats.

Once our table was ready the outdoor seating area was perfect for a perfect weather day.

My wife and I had a panini and both were phenomenal. I really enjoyed my panini and had a hard time pausing between bites. Great experience with great food!

Make sure to make your reservation before coming in! We spent over $600 staying at the Polaris and were unable to get a table at the only restaurant here. We waited for over 40 minutes for dinner the night we checked in and were rejected for the Sunday brunch the next day even though there were still plenty of tables outside. This is not the service we expected for paying this amount of money. Or at least put in a notice about it when reserving a hotel room. The place is pretty nice though.

We made a reservation a week ahead of time. Two of us have celiac disease and must eat gluten-free, Which we indicated on the reservation notes and asked if they were able to safely accommodate. We chose this location because of their GF indications on the online menu. When we called to speak with them ahead of time, we could never get a hold of a real person. Each time you have to leave a message and after three attempts and three messages, no one ever called us back. We showed up for our reservation & were seated only to be told that they cannot feed Celiacs. Their gluten-free pizza dough is labeled on the package that was shown to us as containing wheat. Sadly, we had not eaten all day and wanted more than just a salad. We were disappointed that the waiter made a big deal and a big production at our table about why they could not feed us. While we appreciate the honesty, we simply felt like we were being made a spectacle. When we explained we would have to eat elsewhere and were disappointed about that, we left. Later, we found out that on the reservation app THEY Listed our reservation as one that was “canceled“ making it impossible for us to leave a review on the reservation website.
