We went in a Saturday night with our children. Very family friendly, we got a seat right away, and or server was great. Our boys shared ribs, no extra charge for sharing, which is great at a place where the servings are so big! Husband had the burnt ends, and they were truly meat candy. I had a BBQ salad which was very good (no wilted lettuce, no soggy, no rusted ribs, good amount of egg). Prices were very affordable. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

Their main courses, staff, and atmosphere is amazing. I absolutely love this place. I just really wish that they would work on their sides. If their sides where half as good as their BBQ main dishes then I’m convinced that they would have people lining out the door every day. Their sides are what holds them back. But, that being said, if you only focus on their main dish BBQ then you will not be disappointed. Their smoked BBQ and wings is some of the best food I have ever tasted in my entire life.

This was gross, everything taste like it came from a box, the mac and cheese taste like Kraft. While the meat was cooked well, their sauce taste like straight up KC Masterpiece. The waitress brought me the wrong food which would have been fine if was good but in my opinion it wasn’t worth eating. Fried pickles were great, nice clean friendly place but expected more especially since it has a good rating.

Family in town, got takeout to feed the whole bunch. Great prices and really tasty BBQ. I’ll never be caught eating Famous Dave’s again! The ribs were awesome and the chopped (or pulled?) pork was as good as the stuff I make. Everyone liked it. I saw local brewed tap handles at the bar, so that means I’ll be back to dine in and have a beer. 😉

I’ve been there three times, and enjoyed it each visit. I like tap beers of different varieties and they rotate through different microbrew beers on tap. The Cowboy Melt is excellent and also the Texas Ruben is good if you like coleslaw on your BBQ. The grilled green beans are the side I ordered both times, because they are so different from the typical offerings at other places and taste smoky and buttery. I keep going back thinking I’m going to try something else

We had this catered into work one night. FANTASTIC! I have spent a good deal of time in KC, known for its BBQ, and I honestly prefer Hickory Road to Jack Stacks, Q39, or any of the many other joints I’ve tried there. Meat was juicy and tender, and their sauce is phenomenal. Check it out!

Have only been here once and decided to try the burnt ends and I wasn’t impressed. Small portion and dry. Maybe just an off night. Interior of restaurant however was very nice and clean. I love bbq, so I will be back to check it out again. Always try to support Lincoln’s local bbq!! Especially since there isn’t much in town that’s worth eating.

Brought Hickory Road’s BBQ in for Christmas appreciate lunch today. EVERY single person wanted to know where it came from they were so impressed. Everyone loved everything we got. I already knew they’d love it, I’m a lifetime fan. Was happy to spread the joy with my employees. I’d add a pic, but it’s all gone.

Worst BBQ I’ve ever had. I got the burnt ends and my wife got the bbq brisket. It was very tasteless and extremely dry. My mashed potatoes were watered down and had no flavor, like they were imitation mashed potatoes from a box. I emailed the management my concerns instead of posting on Google, so as to not hurt their business, but three months have gone by and I have not yet gotten a reply from the management. Don’t waste your time, or money, on this place.

This place was absolutely awful. The burger was horribly under-cooked when I specifically asked for well-done and it left me with food-poisoning for a week! The kitchen must be a disaster. The waitress was pleasant, but when I called the manager after becoming ill, he said he’d call back and never did. I would avoid this place at all costs! Don’t trust your health to shady businesses.
