If looking for a tavern that the locals love, this is it. Lots of friendly regulars, good bartenders, cold drinks and comfortable atmosphere. We have gone back every time in Lansing. No outside sitting at this bar.

We have been coming to Lansing for years but never stopped at the Other place mostly because we had teenagers with us. Last night I told my hubby we should check it out. They were following the social distancing and cleaning policies. The bar staff made for a very fun atmosphere. Loved they were collecting donations for Cedar Rapids for Iowa’s huge August storm. Definitely will be back!

Kind of small but that’s part of it’s charm. The owner is a great guy who has extremely good taste in music! You’re likely to find live music there every Sunday, always a quality band.
