Had an extended family Christmas gathering here on 1/7/2017. Very pleased with the service, the facilities for +/- 50 people. Staff was fantastic. I can only speak of the ribs my son and I had and the Cod my wife ate…food was very good. All-in-all, a very pleasurable experience. Thank you folks.

My husband and I went there this weekend and service was TERRIBLE!! We ordered different things and it came with soup and salad, but they ended up bringing all of our food at once. We waited a really long time for a waitress to come and take our order and then never got any refills. They took away their salad bar, which was one of the reasons we liked to go there. One thing I do have to say, was the food was good, but service was really poor, and there were only 4 tables of people in our section.

The food is mediocre. The craft beer is bad. The layout could be a lot better. This place needs to be sold to someone who cares. Its a shame to see such a nice place in a great location be such a waste. Has the potential to be something special too. Back when it was Splinters, it was a great hangout. Complete Shame!!!

The service here is very poor. We were the only table here, and waited 45min for food! My dinner had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while, the sauce on my entree was totally dried out. The table and menus were dirty, the mixed drinks had zero alcohol in them, and extra waitstaff was literally sitting around doing nothing! Grab a rag and start cleaning the filthy tables!! Felt sick after eating a tiny bit of my food. Unless they can whip this place into shape, I can’t see myself going back.

Wow, never experienced anything like this. Ordered the Haddock and it came with the bottom filled with scales – yes I said SCALES. Complained to the waitress who took the piece of fish to the kitchen and came back with it. Told us the head cook said all of the Haddock comes that way – we are to eat the top part down to the back with scales and leave the rest of our plate! When we called a manager over, she said she does not eat fish but she believed the head cook knew what they were talking about. She offered to talk to her son when she got home because he eats a lot of fish??? We explained to her that we ate Haddock many times and it was not covered in scales – she said huh and walked away. So we ate what we could and paid the whole bill. Soup was also cold and a burger we ordered which we asked the waitress three times not to put on mayo came with mayo. Not a good experience. Will not return.

We were the only restaurant patrons at 4:30 on a Saturday. There were people in the bar, but they appeared to be wedding guests from the way they were dressed.
There is a weird smell, like old wood or stale greasy towels. Everything WAS sticky, like I’ve read in other reviews! The popcorn ceiling was absolutely filthy with old cobwebs and dust from the fans. Above a dining area.
The food we ordered was ok. Not ridiculously horrible and we didn’t get sick. We didn’t send anything back, and we ate most of it. Reasonably priced. My drink from the bar was terrible, but only $3, so I just let that be. A tall vodka lemonade with zero discernible vodka taste and “lemonade” that I’m pretty sure was watered down Squirt. Not tasty, not refreshing.
Service was kind and friendly, food didn’t take forever. Just not an appealing place.

Used to be good a long time ago then they got lazy and prepped almost the whole menu so everything was just re-heated and served. I think it cost them a lot of business. The food is good again But the restaurant smells a bit like a dumpster and everything is sticky. They need to change the cleaning water more. The beer selection is also poor. I like IPA beer and they have only one. If those two simple things were fixed I would go often.

We had a group of five that planned on having cocktails and dinner at Legends Brewhouse in De Pere on May 9th. The bar had other patrons but was not crowded by any means. My husband and I arrived around 6pm to join the others in our party, we were at the bar for 20 minutes waiting to get served. There were two bartenders, one told us that he would be right with us and then disappeared, the female never made eye contact with us the entire 20 minutes we were standing there trying to get her attention (yes we were being polite when trying to get her attention). Sadly, our party of 5 left your establishment very disappointed. As I mentioned previously, we were meeting for cocktails and dinner, we were there to spend money. Extremely disappointed in the lack of service and will not be back.

Been here before, loved the food. Was about a few months ago. Went there now on Aug. 16th and it was the worst I have had in years when eating out. Seems like the atmosphere has changed. Menu sure has, and not for the better. Had a special of ribs. Decided to get that. Came with a cup of soup. Ribs come and that was it, just ribs on a plate, nothing else. We were then told that anything else we wanted would have been an up charge if we wanted it. Wife had a perch sandwich. Fish was so small it really should have been swimming still to grow up. We brought friends to eat here that were from out of town and we were very disappointed and embarrassed to have taken them there. They quit the old specials a month ago we were told. Menu is not very exciting. We won’t be back, and I actually don’t think they are going to be around long with the changes just in the last few months. Too sad. Was a good place.

First time here. one bartender / waitress friendly but she had to wait tables were she had a table of at least 12 another table of 3 so anyone at the bar waited, one left while we sat. 2 came in waited they almost 10 minutes they were about to leave then she saw them. We had one drink waiting for tab then leaving . Sad beatiful place except the burnt out lightbulbs not being fixed and no atmosphere obviously owners don’t care .
