A welcome pleasant surprise to have a Vietnamese option in Glassell Park. Certainly, most understand that great Vietnamese food will lead you to a drive elsewhere in Southern California. This is a good alternative. Strictly speaking, the Pho quality is above average. The broth is flavorful, however lacks depth at this price point. The ungenerous portion of beef can also leave you hungry. The slices of steak also seemed like an afterthought, as it was tough in texture. The brisket alternative was also not the tender pieces that other restaurants may serve. Ingredients are freshly served and done with care. Spring Rolls are well constructed, and the Crispy Rolls have tender chicken. $9 for an order of 3 will leave your party of 4 in an awkward order. Vermicelli and rice noodles are also fresh and served intact. The restaurant is located in a small space with very limited customer parking. Street parking is your best choice. Online ordering is easy, and the kitchen does an excellent job at packing takeaways. An absolute plus to this restaurant is how clean the dining area is, and the service is quick and friendly.

Everything was so delicious and this is my favorite Bánh mì. We got a chicken Bánh mì, chicken & shrimp crispy egg rolls, and spicy chicken pho (medium – which wasn’t way too spicy. perfect actually!)

We heard about this place through a coworker and we decided to check it out. We were surprised by how clean and new the building looks compared to the rest of the street, the only down side is the lack of parking. When we came inside we were greeted warmly by our server and she told us to choose a seat. She handed us a very neat and easy to read menu and gave us time to choose. The wait time is reasonable and when our food arrived I knew this would be a regular spot for us. We ordered the Special Phó, special Banh Mi, and Special Vermicelli. The Pho is my absolute favourite and I’ll definitely be returning when I have a craving. The banh mi has a perfectly crunchy bread and just the right amount of spice from jalapeños and delicious pickled veggies. The beef in the vermicelli is perfectly seasoned and the spring roll and that perfect crunch. Over all our experience was pleasant and welcoming if you’re looking for a cute restaurant and want a warm delicious meal this is the place to go!
Bonus if you like supporting a mom and pop shop this is a great place to choose, the owner was really friendly and sweet.

I had a Vermicelli Chicken x egg roll on a bowl. Food was fresh, flavorful and delightful albeit small in portion. It barely reached my stomach and was still hungry after. lol. Anyways, their service was fast and staff were competent with good customer service. Prices are reasonable.
Rear parking space is small and limited to five cars. Maneuvering to exit will test your driving skill. ;D
Overall, this is a nice little vietnamese spot. I recommend it.

Ordered the spicy beef phone and wife the chicken pho. Absolutely delicious, beef was lean and tasty and the spicy broth was on point! Wife also enjoyed the chicken pho. Definitely recommend and will be back for sure.

The food is great! I think when we got there a group of people walked in so it was a little slow for service. Parking was pretty easy and the atmosphere is just simple nothing fancy but the food is amazing I highly recommend and would go back!

The peanut sauce for the shrimp spring rolls was super yummy. Wish the spring rolls were more generous with the veggies. The special vermicelli was delicious as well. Glad I found this gem. They don’t have parking.
