Our experience with the Cambria Pines Lodge Restaurant was outstanding. We made reservations for 4, and we found the atmosphere charming. All of the help were very friendly. My wife and I ordered the special of the day “Prime Rib”, and split it. The rib was cooked perfectly; tender and delicious. The other couple we were with, order the calamari dinner, also to be split, which was done in the kitchen. They said their calamari was delicious. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

We came for our anniversary and I would definitely come again next year! The experience was great. Jose was our server and I think really went above and beyond. He was attentive and kind. Made sure the timing and speed of the meal was what we wanted. We asked if we could have more bread and he gave us a little bag to go. It’s things like that that make you want to come back. We had the sea bass special and prime rib special. We ate every bite. It was delicious. Between the service and the food I would say it’s worth it and I will be back.

My overall experience with this place is phenomenal. I started with a refreshing margarita. For my entree I ordered the special of the day “Prime Rib”, and let me tell you, the meat was cooked to perfection, tender and delicious. My husband ordered chicken piccata. The service was excellent, Oscar and Kai were attentive and friendly. They answered all of the questions I had. I highly recommend this place.

We were there for the Christmas Market and light show. We stayed two nights and it was a comfortable and hospitable getaway. The light show is excellent, with plenty of different settings to set the holiday spirit. We had breakfast and dinner on both days that we were staying at the lodge. The prime rib special was very good and a good value. The roast was tender and cooked perfectly as ordered. The fresh asparagus was a perfect compliment. The au jus was just OK, but the beef was so flavorful it did not require the typical dunk. The horseradish sauce was a perfect level of creamy and spicy. The ravioli dish was good, the butternut squash ravioli was very tasty, the cheese and spinach raviolis were almost overwhelmed by the thick cream sauce. Creme Brulee for dessert was as good as any I have had over the years and I would recommend saving room for this treat. On the second night we dined in the lounge and the burger was very good. A full half-pound and cooked to my preference resulting in a juicy and flavorful dinner. The crab cakes appetizer are enough for meal. More of a crab stuffing recipe, but well worth the price and full of crab flavor. My only negative experience was with the breakfast buffet. Plenty of food, but the stacked plates were cold to the touch and the eggs, sausage and potatoes were not hot. The result was a disappointing cold breakfast. On day two we had oatmeal that was the right serving temperature and cold cereal along with fresh fruit and fruit juices. The coffee was very good, but also ended up too cool to enjoy after warming up the ceramic mug and losing its heat. On day two we brought paper coffee cups from our room and enjoyed delicious hot coffee. Cambria is a great destination and the Cambria Pines Lodge is a classic lodging experience. Kudos to the front desk staff who are kind, patient and very helpful.

I had a fantastic experience at The Cambria Pines Lodge Restaurant thanks to our amazing server Jackie. She was not only attentive but also hilarious, which made our meal even more enjoyable. The ravioli trio is a must! The butternut squash filling is delicious. I will definitely be back!

Such an awesome experience from the minute we arrived – an absolute must try in Cambria. Food and ambiance was so great but the absolute best part was the service! Our bartender Caden was amazing! Super charismatic, super funny, and made the best drinks. Now that I think about it I think my wife had a little crush on him…he’s that good! If you are there definitely get the Ocean Vista Fashioned. Loved it!

Our waiter in the Cambria Pines Lodge Restaurant was and is as always, Clinton. Clinton is head and shoulders above all other food servers because of his great interpersonal skills, attentiveness, knowledge and ensuring every guest experiences the best Cambria Pines Restaurant has to offer. Clinton is the primary reason we continue to dine at restaurant. Clinton welcomes us each time as if we are family and goes out of his way to make sure we have everything we want. Clinton is one of the best representations Cambria Pines Lodge and Restaurant could ever have. Truly an indispensable asset to be cherished and valued for all he does for the establishment.

Last week, a big storm blew in, it affected the Lodge and Restaurant, the electricity was out! We are a very delicious dinner basically in the dark. Everyone remained calm and treated everyone nice. I kept checking my dinner with my flashlight, it was delicious! Dinner by one little fake candle, see below. Good job cooks!!

Clinton, our dinner server was simply THE BEST. Clinton was a polite, charming, and his knowledge of the dishes being served elevated our dining experience. We hope to be in Clinton’s section next time we come to dine at Cambria Pines Lodge. If Clinton is lined up for a pay increase and or job title boost he is well deserving!!

Dined here just after Christmas, after visiting the Cambria Christmas Market (which was a 5/5, by the way). The service was sloppy, and they were not that busy. The food was mediocre and way over-priced for what it was. Our friends’ $22 burger was apparently good, but our two beet salads with salmon ($35/ea) and caesar salad with chicken ($29) were poor. Would not recommend.
