didnt realize there was a speaker to order from so i pulled forward and instead of the worker politely telling me about the speaker she opened the window and rudely asked “can i help you” as if we weren’t obviously customers. she told us we needed to wrap back around and order at the speaker , as if she couldn’t just type the order in right there. there wasn’t even a line for the drive thru. we just ended up leaving.

So disappointed. My son is leaving for the Navy on Monday so this week has been all about visits to favorite restaurants and places before he goes. Rita’s was on that list. We ordered our items, which was a struggle to begin with and when we did finally get our order I noticed that one of the items had not been fully filled. I asked if they could add a little more custard – to which I was told “it’s fine”. Meaning what I had was what I was getting. I was rather disappointed with the customer service that I received, but wanted to avoid getting upset, unnecessarily or creating a scene, so we left with our food. When I got home, I could see that I had not overreacted. One of the items clearly has less product than it should. 2 have less product if you compare it to their marketing for the product. The first picture is directly from the website. The second picture is what we got – the 2 items on the left and right are what I’m referring to. The ones in the middle are perfect so not complaining about those.

Let me start by saying the staff were friendly and kind! Rita’s has always been a family favorite. We have be going to multiple locations for years. But the larger prices with way smaller portions? It’s just too much. $16.95 for two custards? As I said, we’ve been going for years and these are not the same sizes we used to pay for. Although the staff was amazing and we did tip, we will not be back. Jersey Freeze is only 15 minutes away and we could have gotten 3 large cups with an actual decent amount for the same price.

The nasty lady behind the counter wouldn’t give me a large size straw, claiming that the big straws were for milkshakes, so we ended up with tiny shows they didn’t make it up to the end so if you want to eat ices normally and don’t want to get treated with attitude, I would recommend going elsewhere

Ordered a frozen coffee the straw they gave wasn’t big enough to reach bottom and to drink blended coffee when I saw wider bigger straw I asked for it but employee didn’t allow. Was very firm that “it’s only for milk shakes” now it’s just melting in my car

Went to this Ritas for my daughters softball team after a tournament. We had a whole team of girls. Keep in mind not everyone arrived at once so it take a few mins to order for everyone. I repeatedly asked if my daughter could use the restroom and was denied until the order was paid for. Do better for your customers. Girl at the counter was extremely rude making nasty faces the entire time. Do better for your customers especially young girls

There are 3 Ritas within a few miles of my home and this was one of the only ones open on a Saturday. With only ONE person working. ONE. On an 86 degree saturday before Easter. Poor Justin could not have been more than 17 years old . 20 people in the shop, a line of cars wrapped around the building. The adult owners/operators of this establishment should be ashamed of themselves. They absolutely made enough money in the half hour that we were there to pay 2 people and make a profit. But goodness knows that would be a tragedy to whoever owns this mess. Thank you Justin for your excellent service and cool head under pressure, you absolutely deserve better from your workplace.
