Finally I found some time to visit first Ukrainian restaurant in Kentucky. Food was great, we ordered few dishes and they taste delicious like always Ukrainian food but little bit small portions. Atmosphere and design makes me happy . For the service they need more attention, but I still give them 5⭐ review. They new business and of course they make some mistakes, and I believe they learning through mistakes and soon this restaurant will be one of the best in town.

Delicious food, lovely and attentive staff and owner. I do not eat red meat and it was fantastic to have several options on the menu that weren’t deep-fried fish or a garden salad. My husband got the beef stroganoff and completely cleared his plate. We got kalynysky (a type of crepes) for dessert and they were to die for. We will definitely be back soon!

We had a GREAT meal at Taste of Ukraine. The family is very hospitable and the food? Excellent. So glad they opened this restaurant. We’ll definitely go back soon.

We ordered Kvass to drink, ate Pelmeni, Ukrainian-style cutlets, beef stroganoff, and finished with a sweet treat of Nalysnyky. Chef’s kiss! The beef was so good and tender, didn’t even get a picture before enjoying it all.

I’ve been so excited about this place & finally got to go for lunch today & this really is a wonderful gem in Kentucky. The atmosphere is great, the cafe is cute & clean, & the staff were so lovely.

As someone who has spent a lot of time in Ukraine, Poland, & Belarus I was blown away by the food. Everything I tried tasted just like it was homemade by my friends. Some of the tastiest Holubtsy that I’ve ever had.

Finally visited Taste of Ukraine yesterday. To just say WOW, I don’t think it would be enough. First things first. Place is spotless, very clean. The atmosphere it’s just right. Lots of cool art from Ukraine. Finally the food, ohhh the food i can’t explain enough in words. You got to stop by and try it for your self. We had 4 dinner dishes and they all were delicious and tasty. This is all home made and made daily. Everything tasty so fresh. One more thing. You must i mean MUST try their desserts. I would highly recommend to stop by and try some Taste Of Ukraine.

Im still contemplating my visit to this restraunt. When I walked in, the lady who owns the place didn’t speak or acknowledge i was there. I was the only person in the restraunt from 12:00-12:35. A few minutes later her husband came out from the back room. He didn’t speak either. I only knew who they were from the Chamber post I follow. I have great admiration for my Ukrainian friends so I thought it would be a nice gesture to stop in and grab lunch. The menu is limited so i went with the $17 salad and a $5 hot tea. No bread or crackers were offered with the salad. It was made from tiny chopped potatoes and carrots and peas. Molded into a circle. When I got home I searched the recipe. Very inexpensive to make. Just not sure why they feel the need to charge $17. The tea was a blooming flower in a cup. Was not tasty nor was i impressed. My daughter called wanting to meet me there as she lives in Nicholasville. I told her lunch was already costing me over $30 after the top and I didn’t want her to be disappointed as I was. So I got almost all of my salad to go and left. The saving grace was the waitress was kind. I don’t know if the owners don’t speak English, i don’t speak Ukrainian. I would think they would be grateful to whomever walked into their restraunt. I owned a Coffee Shop in Lancaster, KY where many Ukrainians visited my shop. I was always grateful to see them come visit… ❤️
