Charm Thai Bistro truly lives up to its name. The food tasted great, the atmosphere was charming and inviting, and the service was attentive and well done. Everything came together for a very enjoyable dining experience. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.

This place is delicious and refreshing. The best Thai in town, in my opinion. I went twice during my 6 day visit in the area. Everyone I dined with loved all their meals. We had multiple people in our party with gluten restriction, the server was knowledgeable and worked with the kitchen to provide us gluten free versions of their dishes.
I hope this restaurant has a long and prosperous run in Mechanicsville.

My wife and I stumbled on this quaint Thai restaurant one evening, and boy were we rewarded! The atmosphere is simple, no frills, but comfortable. The real shine, however, comes from the service and food. I had the pineapple fried rice with crispy chicken, my wife had the house noodle soup with shrimp and we shared an order of salad rolls with peanut sauce. WOW! Exceptional all the way around, and plenty to take home for the next day. We will be back over and over again!

We got an $11 appetizer (fried pork belly), two entrees (drunken noodles and pad prak pao), and a dessert (sticky rice and mango) for under $50!!!
The atmosphere is great, the service was wonderful, the food was AMAZING! The veggies were so so fresh.
The owner came and talked to us, she was saying her grandma taught her how to make this fantastic sticky rice we had…I think that adds to the tasty charm.
We cannot wait to go back!
Plus, they’re part of the Grub Hub/Door Dash/Uber Eats.

Such an adorable little spot hidden away in a strip mall. The food is absolutely delicious and the people are super friendly and nice. The prices are very reasonable. With the majority of Mechanicsville restaurants consisting of fast food and other not so great places, Charm Thai Bistro is a godsend. I hope they never leave!

I appreciate the time and care put into this establishment. It truly feels like they put their blood, sweat, and tears into their food. I wish I could go back in time and try this place for the first time again. I highly recommend the pineapple fried rice w/ crispy chicken. I feel like I’ve introduced my tastebuds to heaven itself. We just did an online order and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Super easy. So easy to pick up. So fast. Everything was perfect! Not to mention the food!!! The Thai Fried rice was so good. The wonton soup, delicious! Dumplings were so flavorful and they even included nice chopsticks! We will be ordering here again!
