walked in 30 minutes til close to get a few slices of pizza. LITERALLY THE SECOND we walked up to the counter to order the one worker said “ready?” rushing us to tell him our order. after he took our order he said “for here or to go?” i said “to go” bc i knew they were closing. he replied “thank you” in a smart tone making us feel like we weren’t a bother anymore. when we walked up to the other side of the counter to pay a younger man maybe in his 20s with blonde hair was standing behind the counter staring in space doing absolutely nothing as we waited to pay. we waited there for about 2 minutes. when i was paying, his attitude said it all. you could just tell we were a bother being there. i really regret not eating in…do better!

When you go in you basically look at all the pizzas in the “window” and they will heat up whatever slices you choose. We found that we got our food before we paid, so you need to pay attention to be able to pay. The gluten free pizza other members of our family ordered certainly took a while to be ready, so you may want to call ahead for it to be made, if you can.
The pizza we tried was super tasty. We had a buffalo chicken, pepperoni, a mozzarella pesto, and a cheesesteak. We were happy with all four flavors.

Dino’s is a true NYC style pizzeria. Plenty of different slices to pick from and their all good. If your in Altoona this is one of the best authentic NY style pizza shops. Been enjoying this pizza for years! Great family buisiness!
