First time here, and we will definitely be back. We chose to dine in. we ordered the Tuesday Special. Chicken and fish were both fried to perfection. It was hot, and crispy, but not over fried. Slaw was ok, but not bad, that’s always hit or miss for me. Red beans and rice were a hit for my hubby. I also enjoyed their hot mustard and tartar sauce. The server who helped us was VERY FRIENDLY and helpful, we appreciated that. Can’t believe we haven’t been here yet, we will be coming back for sure. When I say this place is so good!! The service is amazing!! So friendly and takes such good care of you to ensure you have a great experience!!! The food was amazing!! We were looking for catfish, saw the reviews and drove all the way from Kemp to try them and they DID NOT disappoint!! Worth the drive!!! 10/10 we will be back!!!

I ordered the two catfish fillets with two sides. The fillets had good flavor, though I would have preferred if they were a bit thicker. The fried okra was just okay, nothing too special. I really enjoyed the red beans and rice — that was definitely the highlight of the meal. The hush puppies were also pretty decent and had a nice texture. Overall, the meal had some hits and misses, but it was satisfying.

Ordered the Oyster Po’Boy w/fries and hush puppies… hush puppies were great, not bland like many places, the fries have a house seasoning that slaps! The oysters were fried to perfection and the tomatoes were incredibly fresh and acidic! Great flavors, all around! Josh and Mary, y’all are kickin’ it!

I love this place. The customer service was perfect and the food was delicious. I ordered gumbo and fried catfish. They are generous with the shrimp in the gumbo and give you the perfect amount of rice. The catfish was fresh and tasted delicious paired with the tartar sauce. The atmosphere is very clean and welcoming. I did not dine in but would love to do so next time. They have a drive through window so you can call and place an order and pick it up at the window which is perfect for the winter days coming up. 10/10 would recommend trying this place.

First time going and it didn’t disappoint. Whole fried catfish at a reasonable price. Cooked when ordered. The red beans were good. The place was really clean and the staff was friendly. I couldn’t pronounce the manager’s name correctly so I called him Mr S. I will be going back.
