This review is about the tea service experience! Not the cafe side of their business so keep them separate please 🙂

The ambiance was charming, and it was nice meeting the owners — there’s a lot of warmth in the space. Unfortunately, the tea service itself was disappointing, especially for the price point.

I was initially served only the sandwiches and desserts, with no explanation of the savory selections until I flagged down our server again. Shortly after, she had to leave and service was passed to the chef. The garden salad I ordered didn’t arrive until nearly an hour later, which disrupted the pacing of the meal.

The savory offerings were underwhelming: two small chicken nuggets and a tortilla filled with cream cheese and topped with raspberry jam. The tea sandwiches were also unbalanced — the chicken salad was overly sweet, and the cucumber sandwich very salty due to the addition of olives. Portion sizes were fair, but the flavors missed the mark. Plus you have to choose the sandwich flavors while booking your reservation. You don’t get an assortment like other tea services.

Desserts were not made in-house and tasted a bit stale. The only house-made item was the scone, which turned out to be gluten-free (not mentioned beforehand) and had a crumbly, grainy texture. Condiments were very limited unless purchased separately. I was not offered additional hot water for the tea until the very end.

My final bill was higher than advertised and included a mandatory 20% gratuity regardless of check size. While the charm of the setting was there, I wouldn’t recommend the tea service or return based on the limited menu and overall experience.

On January 9, 2025, I had the pleasure of visiting this delightful café. The service was exceptional, and I truly appreciated the inviting ambiance. However, I did have a minor concern; my quiche was slightly overcooked. Nonetheless, the staff were extremely friendly and ensured that we felt right at home.

Tea service reservations usually require 24 hours notice, but on this occasion they were able to seat us that day. Much appreciated! The tea and foods were very good. Lots of interesting decor to look at. Friendly and attentive service.

Very pretty and cute place. Our waitress was excellent. Because the room was a bit small, they could not accommodate us with the baby chair. And we were not allowed to bring in our car seat. So, If you want to visit with kids, be aware. The food was good, but the fruit were not fresh. Will I come back ? Not until my baby can sit on a grown up chair

The food and tea selection are wonderful and all done in a great little place with excellent service. These are also my favorite scones on this side of the Atlantic! Treat yourself to a tasty lunch here with a friend and you’ll be delighted. Reservation strongly suggested.

We absolutely loved this tea room!! We came in and had brunch and everything was so good! The food did take a little while to get to our table, but since everything is made fresh, it’s completely understandable. The space is smaller than most places (but again, they are a cafe not a restaurant!) we loved the ambiance, staff, and food! Really cute cafe for a brunch date!!!

This place is a hidden gem! Come here for lunch or brunch and good tea and dessert. If you love European food, you’ll love the place!

Quiche was delicious, soup was tasty. I had a ginger turmeric tea – loved it.

All cane with a warm French baguette

” The place is nice, with a wide variety of artisanal chocolates that delight the senses. However, the service was slow, perhaps they were a bit tired as it was an hour before closing. The vibe of the place wasn’t the best, which took away some of the charm from the experience.”

Tea was lukewarm at best and by the time we got the honey we asked for it was bordering on cold. She brought us a ramekin with maybe a tablespoon of honey for two of us. The “grilled” chicken in my grilled chicken salad had not been any where near a grill unless it passed one on the way to the microwave! It was raw in some places as well. I piled
It up on the side and wish I had thought to take pictures. Also there was a strawberry top in there meant for the trash. There was something in the salad that had grains of dirt in it as if the lettuce celery or something was unwashed so I did not eat much of it. Desert was a disappointment. Our waitress did not know any flavors or what was gluten free. The only thing she did well was bring our check and take the credit card. For $72 for two people. To have tea a salad and a sandwich two macroons and a slice of cake they could have done a lot better!!!
