If you haven’t been to Post yet, you’re missing out on one of the best hidden gems in the city. This Black-owned bar is such a vibe, from the moment you walk in, you can feel how intentional everything is. The art on the walls is stunning, the space is cozy but elevated, and it somehow feels like a lounge, sports bar, and creative space all at once.

The drinks are SO good. The best old fashioned in ton! It’s the kind of place where you order one drink and immediately start planning your next.

But the real magic is the people. The owners and staff are genuinely kind and welcoming. Just amazing vibes all around.

Lincoln is lucky to have this place. If you want great drinks, incredible art, and a space that actually feels special, go support Post.

Had date night at The Post for the first time this weekend to attend Rooted and Post’d, a cocktail and cooking class. The drinks were all amazing, and the vibes were unmatched! Jesse taught us how to make a knockout Hurricane and a Maryann and Charles taught us how to make the famous Deeply Rooted Rasta pasta. 20/10 experience. Definitely will be back for many date nights to come.

great bar = almost want to say “lounge” it’s sooo comfy – sink into a chair & sip away the evening – mix of sophisticated seniors & hip cliff dwellers make the scene here – artfully exquisite cocktails – can’t wait to get back there…thanks to the welcoming staff !

There was no food, so I cannot rate that.

This place is awesome. I had the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few in multiple different states and a couple of counties.
There are chess boards set up on several tables and a table ready for a game of rock-em sock-em robots.

The seating is loungy and comfortable, the decor is kind of minimalist industrial, yet still welcoming

The service is spectacular and there is a party space I would love to use. If I lived in Lincoln I’d be here often.

I don’t want to spoil it, but when you go there please make sure you ask the owner why it is named The Post. His story is awesome!!

And he has a terrific selection of tequila that you can take home with you. He has Tequilas that I’ve not been able to find in any other liquor store in the Omaha or Kansas City area.

Oh yeah, in addition to chess nights, they also have live music.

Really enjoyable place. New bartender needs some work but that is to be expected. Anything that we didn’t like they remade. Not a service you usually get. Love the atmosphere and what they are doing with their own spirits. Went to an event there and it was great. The food was supplied by a food truck whoch was excellent.

The Post is such a special place. I’m glad this establishment exists. I love the atmosphere, the people, and all the events. It’s really a delightful place and on top of all this, they just released their very own wine selection that is exceptional.

I attended a fun holiday cocktail class last night with a dear friend to celebrate her upcoming birthday. It was my first time to the Post, though I’ve been wanting to go for a long time as many of my friends/sorority sisters love going there, either for a fun night out or a special event. I enjoyed the event and learned from the host how to make some awesome holiday cocktails. I only wish there was a printout of the recipes so I could remember how to make them at home! The host came and chatted with my friend and I for a bit and it’s clear he’s passionate about mixology and fostering a welcoming, warm environment. Looking forward to another visit to the Post soon!

This is just a very cool and comfy bar. Jesse and the staff always make you feel like family. Karaoke night on Weds is a blast with some really amazing talent regularly belting out amazing show tunes and more. By far the best Old Fashion in town. You don’t like old fashions or if you don’t know what you like or are in the mood for simply challenge Jesse to create something just for you. You won’t regret it.
